Pheonix Rebellion History

You see a poster written in fine gold ink on marble-coloured paper. The writing itself is cursive and elegant. Curious, you move for a closer inspection.

To any and all citizens of Renatus

I, Lucion Sullas, am attempting to fill information gaps in the glorious and blessed library of Haelun'or. Specifically, that of human history.

I am looking for a citizen, preferably someone who witnessed the event, who can speak to me on the subject of the Pheonix Rebellion. This will include information on key instigators, their personalities and the events and reasoning behind the uprising.

No payment is being offered, besides that of your name being immortalised in the eternal College of Haelun'or.

Simply leave your name and a suitable time to conduct the interview.

Royal Scribe Josef Timothee sees the note and stares at it incredulously for a few seconds. He then writes a reply.

I have been working on writing an entire history of the Kingdom of Renatus, founded after the Phoenix Revolution. If you would like to discuss it with me, we can arrange a meeting, or I can give you a copy of the finished product. - Royal Scribe of Renatus Josef Timothee

((Generally available 4-11ish GMT -7))

James + Everard Hightower II. James was heir to the throne of Renatus and Everard Hightower II was the son of the man who worked behind the scenes plotting and motivating the rebellion.

((The fact that Everard Hightower the first was an undead might be an interesting note for the history of the nation

Should you wish to find James or Everard II then your best shot would be this weekend at around 6PM EST.))

Inspecting his poster, Lucion is suprised by the number of responses and the famous names written down. He quickly scribbles a note on the bottem of the poster.

Thankyou all for taking interest in my research. I would like to conduct each interview individually, as differing points of view make the writing all the more interesting. I feel it would be appropriate to meet in Arethor, but I am unfamiliar with the city. Any suggestions on where to hold the interviews would be greatly appreciated.

Thankyou for your offer, Mr Timothy, but I would much prefer to conduct my interviews with eyewitnesses to the event. Furthermore, my book is focused on the rebellion itself, not so much the aftermath. However, I will be interested in aquiring your finished Renatus history for the blessed Haelun'or library.

Thankyou for your offer, Mr Therving. Meeting leading members of the rebellion will legitimise my research considerably. ((If you could be on around 3:30PM PST this Saturday, that would be great! Thanks!))

Thankyou for your offer, Mr Hightower. People so thouroughly involved with the rebellion will add excellent insight into its inner workings. ((Could you be on this Saturday at 6:30PM EST? Thanks!))

Thankyou for your offer, Mr Taurus. I must admit, I am suprised that a former king would be interested in my research. This will add great depth to my work. ((You never mentioned when you were available. If you can make it this Saturday as well, that would be fabulous!))

((My MC name is Mithradites. Send me a message ingame or (preferably) in the forums if you need further information!))

Spare no details, regardless of how seemingly unimportant, or ugly. I so very adore accuracy. Thankyou all for your participation.

Josef reads over the addition to the note and realizes he should have been more clear.

Ah, yes. I was indeed an eyewitness to the event and a Phoenix Revolutionary myself. Obviously, some will claim that this will make my work biased, but I am working to prevent that. As the events unfolded I kept detailed records of my own recollections and took interviews, so I have quite the base of knowledge I can use.

((I'll be on Saturday sometime from 4-11 MST.))

Lucion writes another note on the bottem of the page. This one seems rushed and scribbled.

Very well, Mr Timothee. I'm sure your research will benefit mine greatly.

((I have no idea what timezone MST is, but if I see you on around the same time, I'll /tell you. :) ))

A hastily written note is attached to the poster.

Due to unforseen aggression towards Haelun'or by the Orc Warnation, all interviews are hereby cancelled until further notice.

My apologies.

-Lucion Sullas.
