Out-Of-Character

Minecraft Account Name: spacob

How old are you?: 15, I will be 16 in mid-October.

Time-Zone/Country of Residence: Pacific Time Zone. I live in Las Vegas Nevada

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I have a good grip on the English language. However, I catch my self making small grammatical mistakes.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a good 9th grade student. I spend my spare time writing stories, and creating scenarios. I enjoy playing videogames, like Halo, Call of Duty, and Minecraft.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: On average, 21 hours. Maybe more.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Acting as a character, or role. For instance, I should act scared in a treacherous situation. Although, If one were to play as a ruthless Dwarf, he could act fearless and strong-headed. But this is just an example.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I create stories with my friends, acting as a character in the stories. Like an interactive tale. Other than that, I haven't had much experience with ACTUAL role-play. My friend ,JoeqMafia, tells me I'd be a great role-player though.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is when you use information you learned Out-of-Character to benefit your character in-game. For instance, someone tells me in Team-speak that he is going to steal my items, in response to that, I hide my items from him. Even though my character doesn't know that specific information.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-gaming occurs when one character takes complete control of the situation, leaving no alternative options for any other character. For instance,

Guard #1: Hault! *tackles the bandit, cuffs him. Then punches his face multiple times, giving him a concussion.*

This leaves no option for the bandit. Giving him no say in the RP.

What do you expect this server will be like?: Based on my friend's recommendation, he makes it sound amazing. As he says: "The best role-play experience I've ever had."

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: maxinecraft-noip.org. I left because I feel the admins were inconsiderate about my property, and they repeatedly destroyed our buildings. Buildings that I put a lot of effort into.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, most definitely. I agree that these terms are fair.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Absolutely!

How did you hear about us?: A friend told me about this server.

Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: No, but I will when I feel that the server deserves my vote.

In-Character:

Character Name: O'Neil N. Prayhard

What Race are you?: Elf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Wood Elf

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

O'neil N. Prayhard, Sometimes referred to as Kneel N. Pray, was adopted into a monastery in Aegis.

For the first 9 years of his life, his father taught him to hate the worship of Iblees, and Iblees's monsters that roam the lands of Aegis. His father taught him many other things. Like sword fighting, mining, and most importantly his words. His father was a preacher, who went from town to town giving news of the undead attacks. He would spread hope and cheer to the many ravaged towns in Aegis. So O'Neil's father would teach him to use his words to persuade others. On O'Neil's tenth birthday, he managed to escape an attack on the monastery during the escape from Aegis. Leaving his father and other beloved ones... Now he roams the lands of Asulon, preaching against Iblees and his followers.

When O'neil was young and naive, he found a scroll that had a list of the many metals in the world

including there properties. He had mis-read silver's attribute, believing that silver was a holy metal. O'neil now thinks that weaponry made of silver can do critical amounts of damage to evil-doers, which is false. So O'neil searches for silver weaponry, in hopes to use it to help stop the evil that corrupts Asulon.

O'neil is now a modest wood elf, that travels Asulon far and wide. Although, old age is weakening him.

He seeks a place to call home. He seeks friends. Most importantly, he wants to help the world. Make a difference. "Leave your mark in this withering world, and make better of its people." He once said during one of his speeches.

What is your Character's ambitions?: To find silver weaponry. As well as spreading his good words across the lands.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Sword

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Persuasion, and his silver tongue. Ironic huh?

A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): http://www.minecraft...6131/elf-elder/

Other Information about your Character: My character may be good with his speech skills, but he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Or in this case, not the brightest elf in the tree.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

He attempts to save the Halfling, by reminding the warriors who the real enemy is. That Iblees's corruption is still spreading, and that we should not continue to fight each other while much greater evils are out destroying our beautiful world.

"You mustn't rob this man of his minas. There are much darker evils, more powerful than all of us combined! Yet, you still seek for those to hunt and feed on while the world slowly decays!"

If this is unsuccessful, he would defend him and the halfling using his sword. Fleeing from the area.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

He responds, "Good day to you sir! I hope that you can tell me where I can acquire silver weaponry of any sort?."

The merchant responds with, "Ah, yes. If you talk to the merchant across from my stall! He'll 'elp you out with tha' sir."

"Thank you my good man, here" O'neil hands the merchant a small pile of minas. O'neil walks off smiling.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

O'neil rummages through the chests, searching for any silver weaponry. Maybe food or any essential supplies. O'neil sighs, only finding a few iron bars and a golden sword. He leans against the wall, and looks at the ceiling.

"Father. I wish you were here with me." O'neil smiles. "I almost feel your presence... following me."

O'neil leaves the hut, smiling faintly.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

O'neil is startled by the trading camp. He is relieved and responds, "Oh thank Malin, that I have come across you. I am in need of a pittance food and water to suffice my fragile body."

O'neil says humbly, with a light grin.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

He does not respond, for he is too busy praying and preaching for the downfall of Iblees and his corruption. So he would respond to the guards by saying, "I am far to busy my good sirs, I'm sure you can find more able-bodied men in the town to take care of those bandits. I am in a lowly state of age chaps." O'neil nods, and smiles. The smile fades, "Good luck with those damned bandits.".
