Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

Well I am 18 years old currently living in Toronto I have older brother and sister and play video games for fun everyday I also been in playing Minecraft for a year and a half or so. I also lead a small clan 5 people which I will be trying to get to join the server with me.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Well I am a college student so I will not always be on but on average I can promise at least 1/1.5 hours a day more on certain days.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: To me RP means to be someone you may not really be if that is a Human farmer who just want a quiet life in the mountains and does not want to see many people then let it be it is up to you. I feel RP is a way to express what your imagination can do and I love what the interaction with other players can make.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:Well I have been playing games since I was a kid and I have always loved RP games to be honest I have not played on any real RP server on minecraft but I have played on many Garrys Mods RP server and I have also been an admin on a few.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta gaming is when you use information that your character does not but you do. You and your character are not the same person Therefore do not share the same knowledge.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power gaming is when you make your character incredibly strong or OP and someone does not give you a chance to do anything only enforcing one outcome not giving a chance to counter. So let’s say you’re in a fight with someone he says "Fire a huge fire ball killing you in 1 hit" you basically have no chance to react so it ruins the game for the other person.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I hope this server will be welcoming and also will be open for new people to come in and start fresh and reading the rules i can see that it will be a nice fun place to play.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:To be honest I have not spent much time in other server they tend to be so badly managed and player never really talk its always just fighting.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

I am the 3rd and last son of David Tophat. My family and I live in a small house as Lumberjacks. We live in a small town that at the time was growing so business on are end was good when I was young me and my brothers would pretend we were explores or great knights to pass the time. When I grew up a bit I would help my father every morning carrying the wood back to the house as I grew up my father would teach me how to use his axes and how I should talk to others. When I turned 15 years of age my father gave me my first axes and a pair of Goggles which he said was made by an old dwarf on his journeys as a man nearing my age. A strong iron axes that I named Dexter. As I grew I learned to use Dexter as a tool and a weapon but something still was stuck in my mind as my father never told me his past and every time i asked him he would avoid the question tell I turned 19.

At this time I was fully capable of defending myself so I was not afraid to explore the nearby caves and mountains it was one particular day when I met a young explorer by the name of Charles Chi. He told me and my family stories of the parts of Asulon that we never dreamed of he had come from the south were he told us of huge cities and even bigger mountains where the dwarves have made their capital. He even told us about the riches that await for people who are willing to explore those lands I was amazed at his story's I wished I could see these places with my own eyes but I knew my family needed me so I never thought I could leaving my family. It seems like my father saw my eyes knew what I wanted to do the next day my father sat me down and told me about his life he told me of his adventures he told me of huge trees he told me of the people he met and then he small pouch. He told me to do what my heart wanted. The last words my father said to me were the night may be dark but you my son can always be light. At that time I asked the explorer if I could accompany him on his journey back to his homeland. The explorer interested in my enthusiasm said yes.

It was long tripe and I thought of my parents and the brothers I was leaving behind many times but I also thought of the things that I would one day bring back to them and stories I would be able to tell my kid. 5 days had past and me and Charles had become great friends as all we had was a bottle of ale and a lot more walking ahead of us I learned that he had done much in his past but he was not a fighter he like me always tried to end things before it escalated in to a fight for that I respected him. 7 days later going south I have arrived to this strange new place He called Cloud Temple with a new friend. I do not know what will await me ahead but all I ask is that I will have a clean and pure heart through it all.

OOC- He is a young man who wants to find his place in the world with the heart of an adventure and he believes that his parents are still alive he is a man of loyalty honor. He comes from a poor family and therefor he has learned hard work goes a long way. He may be nice but he will stand a die for the people he cares about no matter the odds.

What is your Character's ambitions?: My ambitions are simple I want to see the world and not have to worry about money and when time comes I want to settle down with the women of my dreams if I find her.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

Well when I was back on the lumber house I always trusted my old Axes so I never leave home without it and I always keep it in on my back and at the ready.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?Well I would say it would be my endurance working in the local forest my whole life gives a man some real strength.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

John stops to look at 2 men pushing around a small Halfling not yet sure yet what is happening John steps behind a tree and watches carefully as the warriors take a small pouch from the Halfling this enrages John as he clenches his axes but before he approaches he takes a close look at the Warriors armor and weapons noticing one has a long sword and the other a bow but no arrows noticing this he approaches.

Me: Hey what going on here?

Warrior 1: Stay out of this.

Warrior 2: Hey this does not involve you this stupid halfling needs to give me my money

Me: Well then how about you give him back that pouch and I can figure this out

Warrior 1: O looks what we have here someone trying to be a hero.

Warrior 2: He needs to pay 30 minas but I think I will just beat it out of him.

Me: Well how about I pay 15 minas and I don’t have to bring you bought to your knees

John takes the axes off his back. Telling the Halfling to get behind him then brings his goggle down over his eyes. He waits to see what the warriors will do.

Warrior 1: Well that can work, Halfling you got lucky this time next time we will be coming for a lot more than just your minas.

Warrior 1, 2: "walk away laughing"

Me: You okay Halfling? What is your name?

John puts the axes away and raises his goggles extending his hand to the Halfling. John smiles to insure he means the Halfling no harm

Halfling: Thank you stranger I will find a way to repay you. My name is Walter and yours?

Me: John and no need to repay me I can’t watch as someone gets hurt

Halfling: Thank you John but I must be on my way if I want to gather the rest of the money I need.

Me: Can you make it alone “hand the Halfling 15 minas” just in case they come back

Halfling: Thank you I think I should be fine alone good bye.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

John looking around he noticed there is 3 food stores on this block noticing this he could get a good price.

Me: Hey there what do you have to sell?

Merchant: Some great mushroom soup with bread if you are interested only cost you 15 minas

Me: How about 7 minas

Merchant: sorry friend but I can only go as low as 13 minas

Me: Are you crazy there are another 2 food stores on this block alone

Merchant: Okay 10 and we have a deal

Me: Okay “hand over 10 minas”

Merchant: have a good day sir

Later on that night I go to the highest point I could find and set up camp eat my good meal as I watch the sunset.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

John approaches the hut noticing its abandoned I setup a torch safety zone after which I check the house for any traps then I will set up a camp inside the hut for the night the next morning if no one shows up I would grab the supplies I needed and be on my way hell why leave a good thing for someone else to take when you’re gone.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

John takes off his goggles relieved to see a friendly face but he still is a bit vigilant of the men working there but as he comes closer it seems safe so he loosens up and tells a joke later on introduces him self.

Me: hello there friend my names John you?

Man: Lucky what you looking for friend?

Me: well I am looking for food I have been roaming these jungles for some times but I have run out of food

Man: well friend you have come to the right place we have plenty of food at the lowest prices

Me: well that good all because all I have is 5 minas

Man: the normal price for bread is 7 minas but I won’t have a man leave my store staving so 5 minas will do

Me: thank you friend

Man: "hand over bread and take 5 minas"

Me: "take bread and hand over 5 minas"

As I walk away I turn once again and thank the man asking him which way is it to get to the nearest town and I head off that way.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying.The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

John waiting to get his morning meal hears a man with a loud noise yelling at first he thought it was just a drunk fool talking everyone ears out but after some time he realized that it was the Captain of the town guards.

Captain: We are asking for any help these bandits are killing every merchant who goes through the north path.

John knowing the situation with the bandits could end up killing many people stand up and goes toward the town guard after finishing my meal of course.

Me: I will join my axes is yours

Captain: Great a man that will stand to defend the people of this city. Go to the town guard and they will tell the rest of the plan

Me: the Captain outside told me to come here and gear up to fight the bandits

Guard 1: Here "hands over sword"

Me: No need I only use my axes

Guard 1: Okay then makes your way and met with the other men at the gate.

John notices quickly that the men he is with do not seem to know much about how to fight. They all seem to be militia so I do what I can to train these men in the little time I have.

*battle starts*

As we enter the battle I and Charles are ordered to advance around the right and cut of their retreat. As time progresses bandits start running towards us Charles readies his bow and I stand in front of him with my axes at the ready. As they near we realize there is at least 8 of them who are ready to fight but we stand our ground the fight starts me and Charles each take one down but not killing as we try to disarm the men first. In around 30 second a horn is blown and in the distance the others are coming to aid so the bandits run off.

*after the battle*

Captain: We have won and driven the bandits out now everyone go back to the castle and get your 50 minas

Me: "slowly walk away from castle"

Guard 1: hey you the castle is this way

Me: "nod my head and keep walking"
