This post is just to clear up some questions about the Augustus family, and I felt that in my mind this epic family legacy needed a conclusion.

“The Augustus family, dates back to early years in Aegis. Titus Axehammer is the earliest known relative of the family. But he was a dwarf, this illusive transition from dwarf to human remains, do this day a mystery. And will probably to the end of times. But, a new family member was born, one who at the time wasn’t aware but was about to create the biggest underground crime organization known to Ageis, and possibly Asulon.

Tullius Ablertus Augustus, son of Palius. At an early age his both mother and father were killed right infront of him at a bakery in his village. At the age of 7, he tracked the killer, and hung him in the streets. He then began his first steps to “greatness”. His first signs of becoming a crime boss were, a friend of his secretly stole the coins of a blind man. Tullius proceeded to then round up a group of his other friends to go assault the thief. He ordered the assaulters to return the coins and pose him as the hero, so even at a young age you could see what he was becoming. At the age of 24, he fell in love with a young lady name Claudia. They were soon married and had 3 children.

The eldest, Achilles. Then the next two were twins Brutus and Lucrezia. Lucrezia was born with Pneumonia. Claudia died in childbirth. As teenagers the three were all extremely different, but Tullius had an idea. If he could get all of his children into different sections of life, he could live like a king, doing as he pleases. So, Achilles being a terrific warrior often boasting of his talents had the media and people locked in. Brutus being a loyal man joined the military soon rose through the ranks becoming a honourable captain. The military and law was covered. All that was left, was the underbelly of society. Lucrezia was forced to be a prostitute. With everything in place, the Augustus family name was about to become part of history.

Tullius began to create a business of illegal black magic and underground blackmarket weaponry. When someone had a hunch of what was happening, they were either bought silent, or, decapitated. The children had become adults, and Tullius was at the rising to the peak of his power. The family began to become known, and with Aegis on the down hill, from all the Undead attacks Tullus was receiving requests from all aspects of people. They were at the peak of the power, rich, powerful, and influential. But, things were about to get bad.

The move to Asulon, left the family with no items, and their magic slaves were dieing on the boat. In Asulon, things went from bad to worse. Lucrezia, suffering from multiple STDs hung herself, not bearing the burden her father had put on her. The loss of their sister weighed heavily on Brutus, but Achilles was never around to pay attention. To keep their heads above water, Tullius posed to to a Military governor. It was all lies. Tullius was assassinated in the square of Salvus by Brutus who could not cope with how little his father did about his sisters suicide and the fact he was claiming a false rank of the military. The crime organization died, and so did a lot of other crimes in different parts of Asulon because there was no providers.

One of the slaves cursed Brutus with rapid aging, so within days he was in the state of an elder on his deathbed. Not long after Achilles was on the search for his fathers killer, unaware of he the real perpetrator was. Even though Achilles was thought to be Immortal, he was slaughtered by a band of Orcs. Brutus was now on HIS deathbed and at the age of 34, but physical age of 143 died of “old age” in cloud temple surrounded by monks. He ordered them to fetch the bodies of Tullius, Lucrezia and Claudia, and the mangled remains of Achilles. Which were all kept and his home outside of Salvus. Before he died he ordered the monks to transport all of the corpses including his own to a disclosed location somewhere in Asulon in the wilds. Desert, snow, forest or caves. No one knows. The Augustus family is buried, and so is the legacy. All that marks their graves is a sign that was requested by Brutus which reads “Remember us, go tell the walker pass’a by, by Augustus family law, here we ly”

REASON FOR KILLING OFF FAMILY

I felt that it got a bit boring and so Ive created a new character. Most of this is true, some made to make the “legacy” more enticing.
