chaotikal 2392 Share Posted March 20, 2012 The Ritual of Union - Wedding Chapter 1 - The introduction Both Kharajyrs looked at each other with furtive and curious eyes, they scanned their sorroundings with a tranquil gaze. The male kharajyr followed the customs, he crawled to the altar following the customs, wich was that he would begin to slowly stand up, still crawling, to stand as walking normally, this meant he would leave his natural wild behaviour for this female. The male did so and the female blushed silently, her father prounced his mouth from time to time, giving swift scans to the groom [Or Lo'Ra] and then to the bride [Or Mo'Ra]. The priestess and the priest then walked up the altar and hopped atop the stone platform infront of the couple, there, they began quoting each custom, and all of the customs were succesful, I will name them. Chapter 2 - The preach The priest then talked to both, explaining what they would dispose of; Their goods would be shared together, their houses would be melted into one and both would share their bad and good times together. The kharajyr nodded at each phrase, then the priest invited the father of the female and the mother of the male to walk to the side of each couple. The priest blessed the father and the priestess blessed the mother, then the head priest or priestess spoke "Now...This one gives you the blessings of Metztli! This one now proclaims that you may kiss the Mo'ra, Lo'Ra!", Then the groom intertwined his tail with his bride's and they, looking closely at each other's eyes, rubbed their noses. Chapter 3 - Joy and celebration After the main ceremony, all members of the family will have a meeting, they will talk with the new married couple and they will share a great cake wich is blessed by the head priest/priestess [[Thats it so far]]

Sultan 3953 Share Posted March 23, 2012 Human bet its like any other race, Humans Dwarfs Elfs. Why would a cat like creature have only one mate? Why not a Pride like lions and the male has to defend it from others?
Salamandra 1136 Share Posted March 23, 2012 Why not a Pride like lions and the male has to defend it from others? The problem I have with that is; A guard Tigrasi wants the mate of a merchant cheetrah. Merchant gets pwned. Tigrasi gets girl. Girl unhappy. Merchant unhappy. This would cause so much hate and anger amongst the Kharajyr it wouldn't be funny <_<
DecoLamb 959 Share Posted March 23, 2012 Cept for the fact that the female could claw his balls off. In lion prides if the females dont want the males, hell get pushed away from feedings and wont get any booty, and constantly be attacked. Have it so that the female has to WANT that male to fight for her, make it so the two males hqve to conpete for that love, earn it, and keep it. Both sides would have to actively romance each other then and.work at the relationship, otherwise another male might come and treat the femalr better, shes impressed, and the new male challenges the old male, and defeats him, earning the right to wed that female if she choses to accept him. chaotikal 2392 Author Share Posted March 23, 2012 Love Prooves are deemed Tribal, we are much more delicate. REMEMBER; This ritual is meant only towards High Class Nobles, as this is basicly a ritual in wich both parties EARN Power and Money. My other romance lore is the Metz'Al [Lifemate]. Also, we are not indianbased, so we have ONE girlfriend/ONE Mate at a time, LIFEMATES are NOT Switchable.
DecoLamb 959 Share Posted March 23, 2012 *shrugs it's really not that, but more a chase of trying to make them unique and different. It can be delicate still, as the challenge doesn't have to be an all out fight. Things about knights way back in the day, they would challenge each other to a joust to win a lady's favor. Kharajyr could maybe compete with wit, answering questions form the female to see who knows her best, and is truely fit for her. Or going out and proving their desire for her by getting something rare and beautiful for her like maybe the hide of an animal that's hard to find, or some exotic outfit from another race. Challenges never really have to be bloody, and the pride can be of multiple females in a way as well. The male, his mate, and their children. I would think a father kharajyr, no matter how civilized, would be extremely protective of his female children. Males not so much.. but that's typical even in humans.
