-Minecraft Account Name:Sapphireshard

-How old are you?: 15.

-Time-Zone/Country of Residence: GMT(+0)/United Kingdoms

-Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I guess you could say that! *grunt*

-Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: What is this, a support group? Meh, i suppose... I'm just a regular gal, who likes playing immersive games (EG. That's why i like RP) I'm also a big fan of story writing (I've written a few books...). I also love getting into my character. Whether that means being a filthy backstabbing good-for-nowt, we'll just have to see. You know what they say - It aint proper RP unless theres a guy with a evil laugh. (Well, i made that up, but it's true, right? Riiiiight?)

-How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I dont know - depends how good it is.

-How long have you played minecraft?: Quite a while. Bounced between a few RP /Build servers.

-What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?: Quite a bit. Quiz me! :). It's hard to say howlong i've been doing it, but i've been acting and writing since... what, 3 and a bit? It's natural to me! I've also roleplayed all the way across the board (From medieval to sci-fi, to steampunk, to dysto-victorian (dont ask. I'm also using double-brackets. Nifty.))

-What do you expect this server will be like?: This. But solidifyed into a awe-inspiring crystal of Epic-ality.

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

Kingdom of Aeonis - The players were nice, but OOC chat took over the server and RP was sparse and few-between.

-Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?:Yes. I have. Just tell me who to dismember first, kay?

-Name the 4 races on this server. Human, Elf, Orc,Dwarf. Standard MMO stuff, the building blocks of legends! (Minecraft puns FTW)

-How did you hear about us?:On the board next to that lovely barmaid in the tavern of Kal'Urguan. I mean, the Minecraft forums. Ahem.

-Did you vote?:Yes, thrice!

-What was your favourite Law?:All of them. They fit the RP environs very nicely.

-What was your least favourite Law?:None of them really... wait, the one about not showering eternal praise on me. I dont like that one. Wait, there isnt a rule about that? Oh boy.

In-Character:

-Lordofthecraft.net/forum forum account:Sapphireshard...

-Biography:

Garrik, 21, good looking blonde and the perfect ladies dwarf. There was nothing i could not do, no dragon i could not slay, no maiden i could not sa-

Wait, what? This is meant to be impartial? Dar'vit!

Right, let me pull a stool up and I'll tell you the REAL me...

no matter how many times i have to slap you awake. Here we go...

Me name's Garrik, Garrik Forgeheart to you! I'm 37, pretty young in dwarf terms... But i already bear the scars and marks of a practical dwarf.

I've lived my life down in the forges and out in the deep mines and roads of the Dwarven Kingdoms, and it shows - on my face, the way I walk- with what some people might say is a authoritative gait, but I think that's just their excuse for staying out of my way... see... unlike other dwarves, who are taught the arts of weapon-making, I decided that I was going to practice a rather different art.

My logic was, why slice a monster with a sword or axe - at great personal risk, when you can get a contraption to use OR fire the weapon FOR you?

It seemed so obvious! I don't know why other dwarves think it is dishonourable... honestly, if you can prevent Dwarven lives being lost, surely that is honourable... Anyway, that is how I became a Artificer, or to the common Dwarven folk out there, a guy who likes making inventions, contraptions of a wondrous and fantastic nature.

For the BETTER of Dwarven-kind, I might KINDLY add. (Yes, you - I see you grimacing at me!)

As a boy, I liked building things. Or, more technically, pulling other people's creations apart, then trying to put them back together - often with great succ- oh okay, failure. But that's part of the learning curve, right? Well, anyway,i spent days down in the dwarven workshops, toiling my heart out over the creations i loved so much.

I created many weapons, armour, anything - that which can rival the elves for their workmanship. I mean, they might be no work of art like the fancy-pansy elves yell and sing so much about. But they get the job done, and that's all it needs to do! What do elves know about practicality and getting stuff done, anyway? Exactly. Pah!

One day, i was pulled before the council, demanding that i show some evidence for why i was wasting so much time on my infernal devices. So, i showed them. I showed them how i could double the deadliness and efficiency of the dwarven militia with the simple addition of a few cogs and gyros and such. I showed them how you can mix magic and technology to great effect - something which the dwarves looked upon with great disdain. I showed them how you can defend a keep with a small garrison of men through the use of mechanical sentries. And still, they cast down my inventions and labelled them as blasphemous to our forefathers, saying that they were a dishonour to them, our people, and me myself.

But why should you deny yourself something that can help you WIN? I mean, honestly - valour, battle to the death, blah blah blah.

The REAL MEN come out unscathed from a battle!

My machinery and inventions are the future, whether the backwoods monarchy of the Dwarves like it or not.

(Ps. I hope my RP background is canon - i wont go overboard with the machinery and inventions. I know what meta-gaming is)

-Character Age: 37

-Character Appearance:

Stout, slightly tall for a dwarf. Covered in mismatch plates of armour that have been twiddled and improved over the years - they look ever so slightly decrepit - although the many gouts and ruts in them prove testament to how many fatal blows they have prevented. A tool belt and metal-plated repeating crossbow are omnipresent on his person - sometimes a convincing presentation and good bartering are not enough to cement a deal, aye?

His head is covered in a auburn-orange mess, with grease and tar stains intermittently - who knows what colour his hair is when it's clean - if it ever has been.

If you didn't know better, you'd think he was born with a tangled wreck of a hairdo!

Perched upon his furrowed brow, there are a pair of well-worn obsidian-glass goggle that have saved his eyesight more than a few times - no wonder they are the ONLY clean piece of equipment he carries! You can see where they've been patched many times over the years.

-Character Personality: Rugged, Practical, Logical, Analytical (If a bit too much). Plain-talking but also very cunning, yet also friendly, approachable (as long as you DONT move that piece of junk he is always needing!).

-Your ambitions: To bring in a new era of inventions and improvements to the dwarven - and elvish, if they so allow it - nations, through the use of machinery and doodads!

(And also make a tidy profit from it!)

-Can your character read or write?: Yes, muchly so. Years of scrawling ideas and details onto blueprints had to have a advantage, i guess)

-Can your character mine?: Yes, although he would rather spend time creating something to do it for him.

-Are you a capable builder? In architectural terms? Good enough... however, his real talent lies in crafting...

-Can you wield a sword?: Yes, although Garrik would rather use his favoured crossbow in combat!

-Enjoy Farming?: No. As like any inventor, food and biological upkeep take up a very small part of Garrik's agenda, often with very little priority.

-Does your character have any special skills?:]Apart from whats covered in the bio-

>Being good with ranged weapons. Dubbed "finger of god" by many archery teachers in the dwarven state. (Obviously they have no idea that all those gizmos on his crossbow do SOMETHING. But let's keep that to ourselves, yes? There isnt even a dwarven word for scope, heh.)

>He can fix anything, or break it even more by trying to.

-A screenshot of your skin: I haven't finished it yet - as fitting of a inventor, type character, i'll add odds and ends to it as i adventure (I'll use the standard dwarf skin)

Other Information: What is this, question time? Get outta here!
