VonEbs 1224 Share Posted March 25, 2012 MC Username: VonEbs Rp Username (be sure to include the correct prefix, look up on info thread): Ko’Citali Character Skillset: (not there yet, but what I am going to obtain.) 60 farming 30 woodcutting 25 Cooking 60 swords Appearance: Ko'Citali is a female Kha'Pantera of thirty-seven years, with jet black fur and a slim figure. She has silky fur and a sleek tail. She stands about 6 feet tall, and always seems to be wearing blue of some sort. She weighs 230 pounds, and loves the color blue. There is a silver chord holding her skirt in place. A small indigo colored velvet pouch hangs from this, resting on her left hip. Alluring green eyes stand in start contrast to her dark pelt. Personality: This she-cat has a surprisingly outgoing personality, and enjoys socializing with other Kharajyr. She is accepting towards strangers, and is extremely loyal towards her friend, family, and leaders, however, she does not tolerate stupidity. Citali is secretly skeptical about Metzli, but would never reveal this to anyone. Carrying with her a mind for business, she is always looking for ways to make extra profit. She hides some facts from her past, and will not talk about her parents. Please include a short bio of your character's life: Citali was born thirty-seven years ago to a cheetrah mother and Pantera father. Her mother died during childbirth, and her father neglected and abused her from a young age. He would beat he with a silver chord, the same one she uses as a belt. She was rarely fed, and what she was given was barely edible. He would come home from his job at the smithy everyday, drunk and beligerant. Her father's brutality drove her outside often, and from an early age she liked nothing more then talking with other cubs and playing with them. Her only escape from her father was to leave the house, and at the age of sixteen, she chose the path of a merchant, and resolved to never starve again. Establishing a small shop which sold lumber, she worked for every coin she earned. Several years after her departure, her father was killed for insulting a moonblade while drunk. She refused to attend the funeral, and gave all of his possesions, with the exception of the silver chord, to the state. She never looked back, and continued foward. After returning from a hunt, she discovered the rest of her people had set out for their original land. Ko'Citali set out after them, and has arrived, ready to start a new life with the rest of the Kharajyr. Character's ambitions: Ko'Citali hopes to become a successful business cat. She also would like to find a mate, but that is not a very big priority for her at this point in time. She is thinoing of opening a tavern, but has restraints due to her father's alcoholic problems. _---Situational Rp Questions---_ 1. As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands. He approaches you, obviously distressed, and asks for any food, water, or shelter that you can provide, then tells you that he has been lost in the area for days without any proper supplies. How do you react?: As Citali lurks through the jungle, she hears a rustling in the undergrowth about 10 meters away. She freezes, silently sniffing for prey. She smells the rankness of an ape, and can smell his fear and salty sweat. Citali stalks him, and sees him stumbling through the forest, obviously lost. As she appears from the undergrowth, the ape gasps in terror, and swings his sword in her direction. She puts her paws up, showing that she is not hostile. The she-cat ventures in Common, "Greetings. You are not supposed to be gere, are you lost?" The ape responds by lowering his weapon while saying, "Do you know the way out of this Aeriel forsaken place? I am hopelessly lost and out of supplies." Taking in his current appearance, Citali offers, "I am Ko'Citali, and I will be happy to help you.. for a price." Staring at the Pantera in surprice, the ape handsover a small bag of gold coins. The she-cat counts them, then deposits them in her coin purse. She pulls out her pack, and takes some travelling rations out, handing them to the ape. She directs, "Follow me, or you will die here, alone and hungry." Ko'Citali leads him out of the jungle, and disappears into the undergrowth when they reach the edge. 2. As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern. Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak. "Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!" He continues act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?: Ko'Citali keeps a cool composure, and wrinkles her nose in slight disgust. "Who are you?" she would ask. The dwarf replies, in a drunken accent, "Skippeh..." As she slices a claw across his face, she retorts, "Are you sure your name is not Brokenface?" Citaliould then take a seat on the other side of tyhe bar, ignoring the stares she is recieving from everyone in the tavern. Saying to the bartender, "What does a cat have to do for a bowl of cream?" rather bluntly. Citali pays for the drink, and watxhesher back incase the half-ape decides h can take her on. 3. One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door. After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake. What do you do in response? 3. "Why in Metztli's name would you be so daft?" she says with an unusual feroicity, as her fur bristles, and her eyes narrow. Her friend says, "The cake was so good." Her tail goes rigid, and Citali promptly throws the mangepelt out of her home, and locks the door promptly. She walks to her bed, muttering, "....Mousebrain" she falls asleep that night, her fur standing on end due to the sounds of the military searching gor that pile of foxdung. Do you swear to follow the Tlatlanni and uphold his law, and do you swear to hold Metztli and all of her actions as sacred? Replies cooly, not exactly lying, "Of course. The Tlatlanni is a good customer, and the priests like to spend the donations on fresh milk." Wretched 2075 Share Posted March 25, 2012 DENIED You are very close. Don't get me wrong. Here are some improving points I think you will need. The personality is a bit vauge. I understand most of it but it doesn't really state anything about you being aggresive even though in the situational RP question no. 2 you slice a dwarf across his face, I originaly thought this character was kind and forgiving but this changed as I read this.I know it says short bio but... Your bio was a little too short. You have the skeleton there, just add a bit more detail and histroy, history about other things than your father. Only a few minor modifications are needed here.The presentation of the app needs improving. Use paragraphs and such, I spotted a few basic spelling errors too, be sure to read your post before you post it. You also repeat the question after the question on situational question no. 3You state you are planning to open a tavern, Kharajyr do not drink, it goes against our lore, I am not saying you have not read the lore but it gives the wrong impression, easily missed I suppose. If you were to open a tavern it would only be able to sell things like milk, but you clearly didn't have this in mind when you said "but has restraints due to her father's alcoholic problems." Making it look like you were planning on making an alcohol selling tavern.And last but not least the situational RP questions could all be extended.
