In-Character:

Character Name: Torug‘Gorkil

What Race are you?: Orc

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Shaman

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Torug was born in the midst of the harsh, unforgiving deserts as one of a litter of 11 cubs to the Rex Mogroka'Gorkil and his mate, Warmistress Mirabelle. Torug stayed with his brothers and sisters in a quiet corner of the Great City of Strigzgoi and remained in the leathers until ready to begin his arduous training as a shaman. In those leathers, he forged strong bonds with his brothers and sisters. And when they started to wander in the desert, those bonds would show through. In many occasions, they got into sticky situations, but they pulled through together.

Torug commenced his early training at the age of 6 with his brother Nugbu. At a young age, they were taught about all of the elements and their history. When Mogroka thought it was time, he took all of the cubs to the Hand of Krug. At the hand of Krug, Torug learned to summon his first spirit. This initially disturbed him, but he grew to love his gift and eventually training would become his life. With this new knowledge came even greater confidence in his demeanour and how he handled situations in general. All of their hard training paid off well in the trials, where Torug fought alongside his brothers against all manner of monsters and creatures. In the end, each of the individual brothers passed the arduous trials and became true orcs. Together, they made their way into adult life.

Torug continued on with his life, no longer as a cub, but as a full-fledged orc. He sought to prove himself, not only to his family, but to the orc race as a whole. To shame himself would be to shame his family, and that is one road that Torug doesn’t want to travel. He heard of the happenings of his brother Guthakug, he who shamed his family. The orcish culture calls for nothing but the best, which is exactly what Torug would strive to be. As he and his brothers grew, there bonds did as well. The land of Asulon is a huge place, but never will it be too big for Torug.

What is your Character's ambitions?: To become a High-ranking Shaman with Motsham.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Torug prefers to use a staff.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Shamanism

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Torug walks over to the Halfling, slings him over his shoulder and proceeds to the nearest cooking pot, ignoring the protests of the two Warriors. The Warriors try to intervene and Torug kicks out at a delicate place. The other one lunges with a sword and Torug sits down, effectively ducking the sword. The warrior looks down in surprise as Torug grabs his ankle and lifts, upending the warrior. As he drops the Halfling into the pot of boiling water, it squeals, then he eats it, ‘Becauz it taste nice’

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Torug glares at the man, and says ‘Nub, umie, Lat can do nuthin’ Then he continues on his way, wondering why a stupid ‘umie would try to waste his time, which can be spent doing better things. Like eating, or sleeping, or eating AND sleeping.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Torug looks around to make sure no-one is watching, then swipes the contents of the chest for himself, leaving a badly spelt note behind. The note says something around the lines of ‘Ug! Dankee for leeving stuf arund!’ Then he looks around for more things to get, and when he finds nothing, he drops a few handfuls of dirt around the hut and does his business in a corner before leaving. As he walks down the pathway, he bites into an iron ingot, and screams ‘Diz nut fud!’

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Torug says something along the lines of ‘Fud, now.’ And if he is given food, he asks for direction to a place that he knows and leaves peacefully. If not, he walks in and starts generally bothering the traders. His reasoning behind this goes something along the lines of ‘Mi buther lats, mi gets fud’ If he is ignored further, he starts breaking things because ‘Dey were mean’

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Torug says something along the lines of ‘If lat iz givin’ fud, den yub!’ He then goes out with the guard, generally angers most of them in some way, and kills bandits with obvious glee. When he gets back to the town, he gets his food, eats it and urinates on a tree. A guardsman tries to stop him. Torug later leaves through the front gate with a dented helmet tucked under his arm.

Denied

An orc cannot enter as a shaman, as that would require him to have magic. You cannot enter the server with magic, that must be learned ingame.
