(April Fools!) Patch Preview (P2.5)

I am against a lot of things in this patch. First of all, the re-roll after death. I haven't been in this community long, but people that have could have months upon months of RP work DESTROYED. What if I just have terrible lag and get mauled by a load of zombies, it isn't fair at ALL. And the changing of race names, I'm okay with. Banning someone permanantly if they ACCIDENTALLY mention them? That is dumb! Because of this patch, a lot of people will leave the community including me and my friends. You have essentially made a death wish for LotC.

I strongly oppose 90% of these changes. I like edits to mob spawns that is all.

You're seriously going to force us to re-roll our characters after just one death? When over half of deaths are caused by lag, accidents, and bandits? Plus, if we refuse we get a whole MONTH banned?!

WHAT. THE. FUDGE.

What about all the effort we put into our characters? Some of us spent days working on our biographies and you want us to lose everything we worked for in an instant? I know this is an rp server but jesus christ you cannot have the rules that realistic, there will be uproar!

Renaming the races? Since its incarnation LOTC has had those classic names. There's a reason why they're so popular. These new names sound like they were derived from a bowl of alphabetti spaghetti. And to threaten us with a ban for not following them is absurd!

Also, just the other day I enjoyed some small rp with a fellow dwarf in the whisper channel while eavesdropping on a dwarven meeting. Removal of /s and /w will cut rp in half.

Also, I think there should be a huge increase in Endermen spawning during the day, no more regioning, and we don't have to initiate RP to kill someone.
