In your own words, define what the act of Roleplaying is:

Roleplaying is when you take the role of another person, and act as your character would. Instead of you making the decisions, you would act as if you are the character.

In your own Words, define what the act of Metagaming is:

Metagaming is when you use knowledge your character doesn't know. For example, if someone tells you OOC the coordinates of their secret hideout, your character shouldn't know. Using

In your own Words, define what the act of Powergaming is:

Powergaming is when you do something that is impossible in the game or time setting. The character shouldn't have a gun if it's medieval roleplay. It can also be not giving the other player enough time to react to an action. 'Character A swings his sword, and cuts Character B's head off" is powergaming, because Character B was not given time to react.

In-Character:

Character Name: Si'Ameka

What Race are you?: Kharajyr

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Kha'Cheetrah

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Ameka was born to an average family. She was born as the first of 6 sisters. When she was a kitten, she would dance and play with her sisters. She liked to show off her speed with races, which she would always win. She liked the praise and attention from her friends and family, for being the fastest of the litter. Her sisters were jealous, but soon found their own strengths.

Ameka enjoyed watching the few dancers at the festivals. She always wanted to be like them, to have their grace and skill. She mimicked their dances until they were perfect. Her spare time was used refining her steps, making every movement more graceful.

Time passed, and the sisters grew up. The other sisters became interested in religion, while Ameka would rather run through the forest, catching birds and small animals. They all learned how to shoot an arrow from a bow, and Ameka additionally learned how to use a knife. Ameka did not enjoy the company of her sisters. She would often fight with them, about Metzli, the forest animals, or anything she could think of. She found this entertaining, and loved to hear her sisters constantly argue with her.

When Ameka was finally old enough, she started to fish with her mother. Each day, they would go to the edge of the river and her mother would teach her how to collect the fish. One paw in the river, one on land to keep balance. She learned how to kill it without damage, with her stone knife. She could cook it perfectly without burning the fish, or leaving it raw.

When Ameka was 20, she decided to leave her home and start her life by herself.

What is your Character's ambitions?:

More than anything else, Ameka wants to find a way to dance for a living. She thinks it is an impossible goal from where she is now, and does not want to share this with anyone.

Other Information about your Character:

Ameka is quick, both physically and mentally. She was the fastest out of her litter, and can still win in any race against them. She does not think before she acts, which often gets her into trouble.

Ameka enjoys fighting. Making people angry entertains her. She is sarcastic and has no sympathy for other people's misfortunes. She could spend all day arguing over the prices of cheap items, physical appearance, gossip, and other meaningless topics. Ameka tries to stay out of physical fights, because of her small stature. She is easily hurt, and cannot fight even after a minor injury. If needed, she would try to use her small size and speed to her advantage in combat.

Even though she loves to argue, Ameka does not consider herself a 'bad' person. She still cares for those close to her. She helps them when they are in need, even if it means neglecting her own responsibilities. Ameka catches fish for a living, and has a secret talent for dancing.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Ameka looks through the stall at the man. "Well, what do you want, miss?" Ameka pauses for a moment, looking at the vast array of jewelry behind him. Diamond, gold, and lapis ornaments were hanged throughout the stall.

So many things to choose from..

Ameka points to a gold bracelet, "This, buy this."

The man nods, and unhooks the bracelet from the top of the stall. "This'll cost 100 minas."

Mi-nas? What's a minas?

She looked through her bag, and pulled out 6 fish, 10 sticks, a fishing hook, and a few stones. "Minas," she pointed to the pile of items.

The man laughs, "That is not minas! Hmm. I'll give you a discount. Only 50 minas!" he dangles the bracelet in front of her nose, "That is, of course, if you can afford it."

Should I give all my fish to him? Over such a small bracelet?

Ameka throws her bag of fish onto the table, "Fish. Two-six fish. I give you fish for it."

The man agrees, and hands over the bracelet, "Thank you for your business!" he yells do her as she walks away.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Ameka walks through the forest, and sees a small house. The roof is collapsed, and the walls are caving in. Out of curiosity, she enters the house, expecting nothing to be inside.

At first glance, the house seems empty. But, in a dark corner, Ameka finds an old chest. It is covered in intricate engravings, and dull silver. It is easy to open. Inside, there is a bit of iron, and a gold sword. On the sword is engraved 'Emily', surrounded with flowers and vines.

This is a very nice sword.. I wonder why anyone would leave it here? Shouldn't it belong to someone? Maybe they used to live here, and left it here. Maybe, whoever 'Emily' is, will come back for it.

Ameka leaves the sword in the chest, and exits the house.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

After losing her way from the jungle, Ameka wanders into a small camp. There is 3 tents, all covered in red fabric. Two children play behind the tents. A campfire is in the center, and a few women are gathered around it. They stop talking to look at Ameka. "Hello!" says one of the women, "Might you need anything?"

I need to go home..

Ameka shakes her head, "No, I alright."

"Would you like to join us? Dinner is almost finished cooking!", another woman says, "Tonight, we have roasted chicken!" The women laugh and smile amongst themselves.

I suppose I would not mind some chicken..

She sits around the fire with them, and one of the women call the children over. She gives each of them a portion of chicken. They talk to Ameka as if she was one of them.

These ones are friendly.

After dinner is over, Ameka gets up to leave. "Wait!" says one of the women, "We need to give you these!" She runs into a tent, and returns with a thick wool blanket. It is dyed a mixture of red, green, and blue. She gives it to Ameka, "Please, take this."

Such nice people..

Ameka smiles at the woman, "Thank.. You. I happy for your kindness."

She waves to the women, and continues on her journey back home.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

As you have been accepted as a Kharajyr I have no point in denying this application, but just a few points I would like to bring up with you...

I think it would be best if you included a last name for your character. :)

Its Metztli (the z is sandwiched by the t's)

"Ameka enjoys fighting." seems to contradict "Ameka tries to stay out of physical fights," unless you were refering to fighting as in verbally? You need to specify.

You seem to feel at home in the company of the "apes" as we the Kharajyr refer to them, this is not very lore following. We look down upon the apes, while not everyone has to "hate" them as such and want to murder each of them, you should at the very least consider them below yourself. Unless of course this was cleared by Xerdun or an Aelkos I suggest you fix this up.

Again this is completely optional. You have fulfilled the requirements of a normal application so good luck to you in the Kharajyr! :)
