Broski 54 Share Posted April 4, 2012 To All Guilds, I hereby state that you must provide all info that you provide on the Forums, also on the Server itself. This can be done by using Books, Signs or NPC’s. If a new Dwarf joins the Server it does not browse on the Dwarven Roleplay Forum, it plays the game and tries to get friends and get to know people, we should not force them to go on the forums, this counts as well for asking people to get on TS and have a chat with us, I disapprove that as well, although that is for later. I am here to point out that we should not post all info on the Forums, we should not force them to get on that, because they will not experience Great RP on the Forums. We should just all remain In-Game and Enjoy the RP we create. ~ OOC Topic
Aislin 4354 Share Posted April 4, 2012 You have no idea how much I want to hug you right now. Also, you should probably establish this is an OOC thread.
Broski 54 Author Share Posted April 4, 2012 Your Welcome, Newbies do not like to head over to the Forums straight away, when I joined the Server I had no idea where to put my Application, this was a Maze, I put my application in the Off Topic section I thought. I do not want others to go through all that, they have to go there by themselves.
no longer active 734 Share Posted April 4, 2012 Great idea! I suggest a Dwarven info center where we put it all!

no longer active 734 Share Posted April 4, 2012 Would it be possible to put near the place where our NPC ammbassador is?
Broski 54 Author Share Posted April 5, 2012 No, that would take away the thought of actually travelling.
Ined 4 Share Posted April 5, 2012 If it would be possible we could provide a book to each new member with all the rules and things they need to know for the specific guild (like LOTC has when you join the server)
domainoft 191 Share Posted April 5, 2012 The monks already provide them with a book on server things to know, I think its a fantastic idea. Also more books in LotC makes me a happy Oracle. +1 to the Dwarven nation.
Broski 54 Author Share Posted April 5, 2012 Yes, Guild Members would need to hand these out, I would also like NPCs explaining how things operate around the city.

no longer active 734 Share Posted April 7, 2012 Maybe the clans could be placed in a clan hall?
