I'm a nice, laid back guy who doesn't take things seriously. I

just like to have fun and enjoy myself! I'm easy to get along with although I am considered to be quiet and shy.

How much time could you be on the Server weekly?:

I think I could be on the server quite a lot weekly, roughly 2 hours at least a day.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

I know quite a bit about roleplaying although it could be improved! A definition I would say is that if you have a character who is a miner, he would be much better mining than slaying monsters and growing crops.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are:

Meta-gaming is basically where an out of character action is performed by the players character which gives information the character shouldn't know. Power-Gaming is basically where you claim benefits over another player without their contribution.

What do you expect this Server will be like?:

I expect the server to be great fun and well polished. It doesn't contain any griefers and bad roleplayers to ruin the experience as far as I am aware. These applications filter the experienced and inexperienced players greatly.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I played another roleplaying server which was a lot of fun until I left due to the lack of players.

What is your Race?:

Dwarf.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Found in a dampened cave, Bolvir was something else. He was noted to be the 'different one' in the small village neighbouring some magnificent mines. Growing up for Bolvir was hard as he had no parents or family. Some say it was a miracle that two fine dwarves found him that night but Bolvir believes it was just stupid luck as one of the dwarves later admitted to wanting him left there as it wasn't their business. The other dwarf, however, ignored his impatient moans and led Bolvir to safety where he was raised with care as Bolvir was an adventurous little dwarf.

The dwarf that rescued Bolvir, Rofkhan, soon died heroically in protecting Bolvir from attacking orcs along with the rest of the male dwarves. Bolvir being six, witnessing it all before his eyes was struck with hatred and fear entwined. It wasn't as much hate for the orcs but hate for how cruel death was. Bolvir quickly retreated into the mines along with the women and children with tears escaping his eyes quicker than you could say mead.

Rofkhan was not one for raising Bolvir as a warrior as such, yes he was trained but not to an extent in which he may have been carried away and ended up dying, but Bolvir had a great knack for mining. After Rofkhans passing, Bolvir mined and mined til his arms ached but did not stop for the life of him. He had no real reason why he mined so much but he was enjoying it which was good enough for him.

Now at the age of one hundred and twelve, far after the passing of Rofkhan, Bolvir still mined and mined. He is now quite gentle dwarf with a nice attitude but once provoked he will rage until he is satisfied. Bolvir's has a very untidy grey, bushy beard, strong muscly arms and dark brown eyes. He usually towers over anyone other than fellow dwarves. He gained a lot of popularity as the mining lad which he did not take much interest in. Bolvir doesn't want to avenge Rofkhan, he just wanted to make him proud by doing what they both did best, which Rofkhan would have liked.

Your characters ambitions:

To put it in it's most simplest form, mining.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

Bolvir walked along a small winding path with his pickaxe scraping against the smooth stone when he heard two grunts from the path to his left. "We need your money, ya stupid elf!" one of the bandits roared as the other guffawed in amusement. Bolvir raised his eyebrows at the small bandits before gripping his pickaxe in both hands. Normally, Bolvir wouldn't interfere with combat, but it doesn't mean to say that he can't handle a fight against two stupid bandits. Bolvir approached the small cottage, pickaxe in hand roaring at the small bandits, his booming voice echoing the wilderness surrounding them. The two bandits dropped the elf and turned towards Bolvir. "We were just.. erm.. chatting to our friend here." said one bandit pointing at the elf who was shaking his head. "Hm, well I don't believe you, mate." said Bolvir calmly watching the scrawny bandits in amusement. "We'll uh.. be going then.." said the other bandit nervously before grabbing his partner by the shirt and tugging him away. Bolvir watched the bandits disappear from view before turning to the beaming elf. "Y'know, I'm not really a bad dwarf" said Bolvir gently "I'm a nice guy, I try my hardest not to hurt anyone anymore".

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

"Why hello there!" boomed Bolvir in delight "I am just looking for some rags or bandages of some sort, if you could please!" he added with a warm smile. "What seems to be wrong with you sir?" asked the shopkeeper with interest. Bolvir pointed to his arm which looked as if there was some coal wedged comfortably in his wrist. "Don't worry, it doesn't hurt." replied Bolvir after noticing the shopkeepers alarmed face "I just want to be safe that I don't run outta blood!"
