You left everything out about our post and just said, "As said, I will still have a channel and so does Charles, we can just drag certain people but if we notice RP **** we just kick you and you can go do that at your own channel. There is bearly RP going on. People jump around and OOC talk to go where. You can just ask Battleme or whoever OOCly something like Come on TS and join my chat. Everyone is able to create temporily chats." This is almost irrelevant to what I stated. You didn't even comment about anything that had to do with my statements. You just got straight to the point of what you thought was best not even considering our comments. So I guess there is no possible way to change this. People don't just get on TS to talk SOLELY about LotC we talk about real-life and other games and being in your OWN NATION'S channel is the best place because you most likely know them the best and it is easy to find everyone without searching through the many many little temp channels. If you want to make a STRICT LotC RP only dwarf channel do it but taking away the entire nation's right to socialize is complete and utter garbage. snakeyeeees 15 Share Posted April 11, 2012 I do not think, this really improved role play in the kingdom in any form of way the only thing this really did is split up the only organization the dwarf kingdom really had and now there is really only one channel every dwarf is in and it really hard to do anything when the architects are talking, people are selling things and military leaders are talking of war plans all in one channel. All this really did is push the still remaining dwarfs to go to other races channels to talk to there friends, organize , or even do simple planing. It really made it hard on people when the only channel there is basically is the high kings channel, witch lives in another time zone from probably 75% of the dwarfs, that are active on team speak.Now new dwarfs can not get on team speak and talk with other dwarfs and get to know them like many other did before because they do not even have talking powers in the only dwarf channel, so that make it 100% harder on newer dwarfs trying to find are hidden kingdom. Team speak never had anything to do with there being low role play in the kingdom and all this really did is center every dwarf into one channel. It just doesn't make since the old channel system that dwarfs had worked completely fine, organization was done, new dwarfs got on and talked to guild leaders to get information on there guilds, and people were having fun. I also doubt highly that senior players will join a faction strictly on that it had only one team speak channel and if your not a know dwarf you cant even get talk powers in there.You also stated, we will be role playing full time, well now instead of that people cant even talk to there friends on team speak to set up a role play event or even go mining together and talk while there doing it. I think this really should be revised and maybe just a few more channels added on so there is more organization and different groups may plan different things such as the military,architects , miners,and farmers channels that allowed groups to talk among themselves. Also you stated "I wish to apologise to all leaving the Dwarves because of the reasons stated in this post!"If you knew that many dwarfs did not like the idea and only a few did, then why even do and and if your going to do it why apologize about it? One if there is not planning for role play in team speak then its often bad and has no organization one so ever also you said go to your own channel, That would be great but you removed all other dwarf channels but the kings so how is this possible. shiinchan 65 Share Posted April 11, 2012 This is not going to help, This in fact is going the shatter the dwarves, There was mention what happens to new dwarves, or people like me who wanted to join the dwarves? you have ever dwarf channel on password lock. Even if they manage to get pulled in, you have it muted and need voice perms. How are we suppose to talk to new players? this is the biggest part of teamspeak, if it wsnt for team speak broski, i would not be your farmer injecting 10000's of bread into the dwarf kingdom, in fact i probably would have went on to my own thing. The lockdown of teamspeak broski also puts every single person into the same channel, this has already been said you have at least 5 different groups with in the dwarfs that need to chat, and get things done, but they talk over each other. Broski you know i have respect for you, and charles... but this was a massive fail project, it drove the nail the rest of the way into the dwarf coffin EDIT: For all the Dwarves that feel displaced, i have a channel with sub channels for my self, i can give you access to 2 of the 3 sub channels, and will make it the temporary dwarf channel, contact me on TS if you are interested. We shouldn't have to make are own channel, just to talk freely and to organize guild and kingdom operations, That why we have a Nation chat, so we may discuss event and organize such things as mining operations, farming operations, Architect plans , and military war plans. Your sending you race into a war with 4 nations a with no capabilities to communicate as a nation, It just doesn't make any since to lock down the channels, when the old system worked great there was tons of dwarfs talking to each other 10 - 15 people in the channel top everyday now you have ruined all of that 3 people are in there mostly because they have talk power,You have ended are perfect system of communication and replaced it with chaotic channel joins, dwarfs must now either speak on a temp channel or go to another races national channel just to discus dwarf events. Over all this makes no since what so ever and I thank shiin for opening temporary channels so the dwarf kingdom may communicate one again like it did so before. In war things are not fully organized on the server, some things much be discussed oocly to make the overall war more enjoyable for both sides. Yes you have channels,three in fact where no has talk power beyond a few, who happen to get on when you were on to get talk power in it and the other 2 channels are locked, so really you have only one channel and no one but a few have talk powers in. It is our right to communicate with our fellow Dwarves openly about what ever subject we want. What you are doing is restricting that greatly and unfairly, if you truly wanted to see everyone's opinions on it you would have made a pole, instead you go off of a few who support basically whatever you say and ignore the majority. If you think we are pissed you would be right this is completely ridiculous. You see how no other nation tampers with TS its because they arn't dumb enough to do so....the fact that you did is astounding to me, I know meta is bad but that doesn't mean you get rid of TS, the pros of TS greatly outweigh the cons but you are choosing to ignore this. What you did is like saying...lets say two IRL nations trading, of course there is some smuggling or illegal items going through but they don't just shut down their trading relations because of it. You should have seen the kind of things that has been happening as of late, three greatly respected old players of LOTC all left because of problems that started on TS at once, more are leaving by the day.
