Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I do but there are some instances where I mess up grammar, I try hard to fix it. I am also terrible at spelling so bear with me.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a nice guy who tries to get along with everybody. If someone is being uncooperative or if there are problems, I try to figure out what is wrong, even if it isn't my job to.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Probably most evenings after school, though my family likes to bother me so i disconnect a lot. Sometimes my internet turns off on its own for no appearnt reason.I also have 1 other server I like to go to because it has a nice community, even if it isn’t a role-play server.

What do you know about Role-playing? Give a definition of what it means to you:

What i know about role-playing is that you create a character and you act it out on whatever game or whatever you are using while other people are also playing with you. To me, it is like becoming another person that you created, you enter their mind and become that person. You sort of (wish I could find a better word) immerse yourself in the role you made and it becomes a part of you. Sometimes, it can really change how you act in irl, but it is still only a fun thing to do with other people.

What experience have you had in Role-playing, if any?:

I have had a lot of experience role playing. I first role-played on a game called Roblox (never playing again which was YEARS AGO) and had fun with it. But then after a time the role-play i was playing was starting to become too....how to put it......weird? strange? Inappropriate? many words like that. So finally i couldn’t take it any more and left them.....I will always miss them but i couldn’t take it with the wired-ness the rp had become. I then moved to role-play on other platforms (too many to talk about) until i finally came to Minecraft and said to myself," this is the perfect game for role-playing". I can make up different types of characters when ever it is needed which i did a lot of that in other games. I can role-play a boy or a girl if the situation called for it. I hope to stay with this community of role-players for a long time.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta-gaming is when a roleplayer uses or does something with information that person receives and uses for their own gain with out seeing or being in contact with the person, breaking the rp immersion. Heres an example, A man is stalking behind a girl preparing to smash something over Stunned her head and take her money. The girl then somehow instantly knows the guy is behind her and she dose a round house kick to the guy’s head. THAT is meta-gaming, knowing something with out any contact, or actually seeing another character and then using OOC info to protect themselves.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

Power-gaming is when a player does something to another player without the other player’s reaction happening, an example of what i mean: Murderer walks up to a man and shoots him in the head. What should of happened was that the murderer should of only put: walks up to Man and draws gun. THEN he should wait for a reply.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect it to be a fun, engaging, and all around nice community. I am looking forward to finally being able to become a part of it.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on the role-playing server Castem, i left them because they basically force you to donate to get permissions to do anything in the game. They made you pay donations for commands like /back and /home.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes I have, I fully agree with the rules and respect them.

How did you hear about us?: I saw a link to you guys on the yogscast serer list and thought it would be fun to someplace with A LOT of role-players.

Character Name: Leon Ashmouth

What Race are you?: Human

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): I do not have a sub race

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Leon, age 16, hair color black, eye color purple. Leon lived in a poor family in a city that was abandoned by a kingdom. It was abandoned because of riots that had broken out when there wasn’t enough water in the city. Leon’s child hood consisted of doing chores and listening to what his parents told him to. Leon was never able to go to school because his parents told him he never needed it and that it cost too much. Leon had only 1 friend, a half elf girl named Neliel Cyprus.

On a cold, rain filled day, Leon’s father said, “What do you think you are doing? Go outside right now and hoe the dirt that way in the winter we can go sell our food in the market to finally get some more money!” Leon, always doing what he is told, grabs the hoe and heads outback. He had just started hoeing the dirt when he heard whimpering in the back ally. He knew that he would get into trouble but it sounded like someone was hurt. He put the hoe against the house, went through the side gate, and turned into the ally. He saw a small, hooded figure hunched over in some form of pain. He goes over and asks” A-are you OK?” The figure tenes up but dose not say anything. Leon looks over and see the blood flowing in the water. “ Oh no, you’re hurt hang on let me go get some help” He then picks her up and starts running towards the neariest doctor. “W-who are you and where are you takeing me?” she asks. “My name is Leon...and I am taking you to the nearest doctor.” She doesn’t say much after that but Leon tries to get her to talk. “So...whats your name?” She looks up at him but doesn’t say anything. She touches the stab wound in her side and she winces in pain. “M-m-my name is N-n-n-neliel.” She stays quite for the next few seconds then she asks “why are you helping me, Leon?” Leon thinks for a moment then says, “I don’t really know......I just don’t like seeing people hurt.” He smiles down at her. “Here we are at the doctors house.” Leon bangs on the door. The docotor comes hurredly out and asks whats wrong. Leon quickly explains what happens and hands him Neliel. The doctor takes her inside and shuts the door. Leon waits outside for many hours. The door unlocks and the doctor comes out. “She is going to live, you may see her now.” Leon rushes in and gos to where she is lying down in a bed. “T-thank you for your kindness. If i had anything to repay you i-” Leon cuts her off by saying “Be my friend” Neliel looks up at him and smiles as she drifts to sleep. That is how Leon befriended Neliel.

6 years pass, Leon is now 16 years old while Neliel is actually 15. She had admitted that she was a runaway from a caravan that had gone through. She had also told Leon that she was a halfling, half human half elf. They met up every day to play their fun games and exploreing the nearby woods. Leon usually met her in town by the fountain but today she was there.He starts looking around town for her. As he walks near the gate he sees people had gathered. He pushed his way to the front of the group to see what is going on. What he sees both stuns him and is almost impossible to register. He sees his father, locking chains on a group of people who had their arms chained up and their legs chained to each other. He looks at the group of people and sees that most of them aren’t human. He sees an orc with what appears to be a muzzled mouth and runes glowing off his chains, a dwarf that looks half beaten to death, and many other different races chained up. There was one person that caught his eye. He saw Neliel, Chained up, cut up and bruised. Leon rushes forward to try and save her but is kicked down by a guard. “Oi lad get away from the slaves” Leon looks up at him but doesn’t say anything. He yells to his father “ FATHER what are you doing? That Girl there is my friend? Why is she chained up???” His father looks at him and says “son, I have something to tell you, your mother is dead. I am disowning you.” Leon says” WHAT?? But...What happened? when did mom die??” His father says,” She died an hour ago in the house fire...I am sorry son, but i am disowning you. I have slaves to go sell,” Leon says” But father .....what did i do to make you disown me? Why are you enslaving Neliel? Why are you becoming a slave driver?” Leon’s father looks him in the eye and says,” Son...i have never cared for because you are not my son, your mother cheated on me and i only recently found out from your mother. I don’t want anything else to do with you. I am enslaving these creature because they are not human. Good bye Leon. Guards, hold him down” Guards came up to him and held him down. He watches as Neliel, crying the whole time, is taken away. “FATHER!!!!!!!!! WHY???????” His father is now out of the gate but within hearing distance. Leon yells “FATHER..... I WILL COME AFTER YOU. I WILL TAKE BACK NELIEL.......YOU BASTERD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Leon’s father, not even turning around, whips the horse to go faster and soon is he, the slaves, and Neliel are out of sight. Leon, disgruntled, is forced to his burnt down house. He looks around the ruins and sees that his mother burnt corpse. He stares at it and see that her neck is obviously been sliced. “Father.....no......Xavier, that was your name wasn’t it? I will have my revenge for my mother and my friend.....just you wait I will come after you........I will find you.........and I will take Neliel back.” Leon gathers what he can from the ruins and tries to leave. The guards won’t let him leave. The guards force him to stay in the city for months. Leon finds a way out of the city and goes off to find a kingdom that will train him to become a knight. He sets out on his own.....now only luck can bring him to where he is going...he left the city with out ever learning how to read,write, or hold a sword.

What is your Character's ambitions?: His ambition is to find his father Xavier so he can take back Neliel.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): His favorite tool is the shovel.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? His most skilled talent is his strength. During the time he has been living with his mother and father, he had to do most of the heavy lifting. He has had to lift boxes, barrels, pigs, and a lot of heavy things, makeing his back and arms strong almost like a blacksmiths. His strength allows him to pick some people up, though he won’t because he is a kind person, his anger and hate are only towards his father. What he really hopes is to crush his fathers head in-between his hands.

Other Information about your Character: He is a caring person and is trying to find his way to save the girl he possibly loves. He ins’t sure though, he tells himself he is rescuing his friend. He also has no other plans for the future, he is so fixed on saving Neliel that he has not given a single thought to what to do after he has saved her...if he saves her. He has no real special talents, he just wants training to fight his father who, which never made the cut in the biography, a retired master swordsman who never taught anything to his son.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

My character would tell the guards to stop or he will report them to the authorities, if that doesn't work he will pull out his shovel and swing it around like a weapon, even if he has no idea what he is doing. He will try to get the halfling's money back, if he can't he will give the halfling an money he has that was equal to the amount taken.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

My character would say “ Hello sir, i am looking for the nearest place that trains men to become knights” If the merchant points him in the right direction, Leon will go there and try to become a knight, If the merchant says that the only place is in the next town over, Leon will buy a few things from his store and then set out to the town.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

My character would ignore it and press on, it looks like there is a reason for those items to be in the chest so he leaves them there and goes to find a kingdom to train him. He really wants to become a knight that way he can get Neliel back.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Leon will try to trade what he has for food and directions to the closet town. he is offered a map but refuses it. He can't read it so he just asks which direction he needs to travel to find the town. He buys whatever food he can and sets out to find the town.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

He pulls out his shovel and says “ I will help, I may not be a swordsman yet, but I will help anyway. Bandits are a nuisance and I must help eradicate them.” Leon goes to help, he swings his sword in threatening ways at a bandit that is trying to cut him. He whacks the guy on the head but has his arm stabbed with the nife in the bandits hand. When they get back from killing the bandits Leon takes the reward and gives half of it to the poor. Then he will go out to find a place he can become a knight.
