Ilsyde 0 Share Posted August 17, 2011 Seen Grubb around a few times but that's it. No sign of the wizard or anyone else. Greenshire seems to be doing extremely well however. I'll be moving from Thistledown to a place where there is a lot more going on.

Orm_Proudfoot 61 Share Posted September 6, 2011 I regret to announce the passing of Oliver Sturdyfoot, longtime resident of Dunwood, Bishop of Dunwood, Mayor of Dunwood, and for the final months of his life, High Priest of Oren. Father Sturdyfoot was born in 1167 to Oliver Sturdyfoot I (1125-1228) and Manda Hightower (1130-1243). He pursued a monasterial education and was ordained a priest in 1201. After serving as the parish priest of Dunwood for many years, he was appointed Bishop of the newly created Diocese of Dunwood. In 1314, he was appointed High Priest of Oren following the abdication of Everard Hightower. Father Sturdyfoot married Emma Took (1171-1280) in 1200. The couple were blessed with two sons, Oliver Sturdyfoot III (1208-1301) and Bernard Sturdyfoot (b. 1212). Oliver III pursued a life of farming in Dunwood while Bernard followed in his father's footsteps and entered the Church. He was appointed to succeed his father as High Priest of Oren. Oliver Sturdyfoot II is survived by his youngest son, Bernard, two grandchildren, Oliver Sturdyfoot IV and Juniper Marshgrove, seven great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren. Father Sturdyfoot requested that no funeral be held and will be interred in the Sturdyfoot family tomb in Dunwood cemetery.

Though I have not truly been a resident in Dunwood for years, I met Oliver when he had just moved, and he was a kind man loved by many.
