Guest Brian Share Posted August 8, 2011 Dunwood is more of a private community of Halflins, where Oren will always be our capital. (( As haflins shouldn't have a capital more of communities and villages )) I see your village as the one wit open arms.
Lym 849 Share Posted August 8, 2011 We 'ave visitors who find our village randomly but we scare 'em away! But we welcome other 'aflin's! ((I personally don't like these 'Woah! You stepped on our sacred Mountain, holy sh*t you are now cursed. Flee!' - Things.))
Guest Brian Share Posted August 9, 2011 (( Well the sacred mountain actually can be stepped on :P and its how halflins would behave so we do it. Dunwood has some of the most skilled rpers in the game and we try to show it. ))
Lym 849 Share Posted August 9, 2011 ((Yep, with beeing rude :P Never saw a a quiet normal Halfling there...) I mean, if Halflings are hobbish, they would also make party with other Halflings, who are not out of Dunwood).)
Orm_Proudfoot 61 Share Posted August 9, 2011 Aye, per'aps we are too quick tah judge strangers, but thar be many villains, bandits, and general ne'erdowells in this world and we 'alflings don't 'ave much in the way of defences. Many of 'em who come tah visit also 'ave in mind a desire tah live 'ere, and tis easier tah deny 'em entry rather than waxing long about the reasons they can't. Guest Brian Share Posted August 9, 2011 We do not want ye troubles that don't concern us, if you bring us ale we'll be happy to talk but not if ye just want to live 'ere or try to impress us.

Ilsyde 0 Share Posted August 9, 2011 ((Neeever met him)) If we are going to advertise we will get loooots of Griefers and idiots... I just met Reex in Thistledown but mistook him for a traveller for he didn't talk the same way you little halflings do. And Frado, I'm with Lym on this. Losing you would be a great blow to the town ((you are a great RPer and have a really funny character)) Only a few of us are left then and I'm more of a quarterling than a halfling. Also opened a shop ((donated)) but obviously, there is no business. I'm afraid of newcomers as well, just like Lym is. Thank you for hearing me out, good halflings. Lym 849 Share Posted August 9, 2011 Aye, good point, Fae. Anyway Brian, if Ah come alon' with Ale, Pipes & Bread, please don't start a competetion. There's already enough rivalyr between our Villages. ((The Dunwood Ale is much better then yours..)) Edit: ((Wow, I just got to know Dunwood only has so much flowers and grass because you used about 3-4 stacks Bone-meal or even more to make it a very nice place. We really need more Bones..)) Orm_Proudfoot 61 Share Posted August 9, 2011 St. Dan's Cathedral, the episcopal see of the Diocese of Dunwood, is now open fer services. The first service will be the funeral of our dearly departed brethren, Biodoc Goodbody. Ah will preach a small funerary then commit 'is body to rest in the new 'alfling cemetery next tah the cathedral. The cathedral will serve the entire 'alfling community - the villages of Dunwood, Thistledown, and Greenshire. Ah will officiate thar during regular 'ours as the Bishop of Dunwood and visit the villages to provide spiritual guidance and confession as needed. Donations tah the cathedral will be forwarded tah the Temple fer the resurrection of the clergy. -Orlin Stromgaul, Bishop of Dunwood
