Something to set the mood~

))

You enter a small pub along the road between the cloud temple and Solace. immediately your attention is drawn to a small crowd in the far left corner of the pub. You approach the gathering curiously and notice, that the small, young man sitting on the table talking. The candle light adds a glimmering red to his already red hair and face.

"... and that is how it want down. That poor old fool."

The person next to you coughs almost silently, adding: "My apologize good man. Who where you talking about?"

The small man on the table blows air through his nostrils. Apparently it's not the first time he gets ask to start the tale over again.

"Alright. But it's the last time you will hear it from me."

He take a long sip from his mug of ale and starts talking.

"I was in the throne room a short time after the cleansing of the witch. The town was still in uproar. I was trying to fulfill my work as a scribe there as good as it's possible this days, when suddenly there was noise coming from the entrance of the palace. The old blacksmith stood there."

"Wait. Which throne room where you in?" someone asked.

"Solace you babbling fool. Now shut your trap or I'll stop telling you ****.

Where was I. Oh right. The old Kal Derra stood in the gate of the palace. I have never seen a man with more hatred in his eyes, than this man at this moment in time. He slowly made his way to the middle of the room.

"Where is the King?" ((blacksmith voice))

I talked to this man many times, while researching the history of Salvus. On this fateful day, his voice caused shiver to run down my spin.

"I have to ... talk to him" ((blacksmith voice))

But the king was not in the throne room. The only other persons there where 2 Ordinators. To my knowledge they are wanted now by both, the alliance and Salvus. Not the best company to have around, looking back at it."

He gave a short shrug, but you can see the thought makes him uncomfortable before he continues his speech.

""The king is not 'ere. What do ya want with 'im, blacksmith?" one asked scornfully. ((Ordinator voice))

"I will have him answer for the murder on my Queen!" ((blacksmith voice))

"I lit the ***** on fire. I'll answer ya." ((Ordinator voice))"

After imitating the voices of the other men he made a short pause from telling his story to have another sip of ale. After setting down his mug he gave a deep sigh and picked up his tale again.

"The Ordinators slowly walked towards the old man, but stopped in their tracks in a save distance. Only then I noticed the sword in the hand of Kal. It looked amazing. It looked so smooth and pure, that I swear to the maker I could see my face in it from the other side of the room. He raised it towards the head of the Ordinator closer to him.

"Then you're in for it, mate." ((blacksmith voice))

"I got this." said one of them to the other, giving a short shrug and drawing his sword. ((Ordinator voice))

They stood there for a brief moment, before charging at each other. To the day I die, I will never understand, why the old fool came without armor on him. He was the goddamn blacksmith for crying out loud. It's like he wanted to die. The only thing he accomplished was to ram his sword through the diamond armor into the shoulder of one of them. Before the other one interfered and slashed him with his axe, causing a deep gap in the chest of the old man. After that Kal sunk to the floor with a peaceful smile on his face. The hurt Ordinator was furious and kicked the corpse a few times. After that they dragged the body outside. I watches from the window, as the through him of the bridge into the river. I went down to the shore later that day, but the body was not to be found. The poor man will never have a grave with his name on it, I guess."

"Why didn't you you anything to stop them?" asked the man from before.

"Do I look like a bloody moron to you?"

The small man sighed annoyed.

"Alright. That's it. I'm done talking. You can all bugger off now."

He stood up and fumbles in his pockets for some coins. After tossing them on the table the small, red haired man makes his way pass you; out of the door into the night.

*Braxis sighs and speaks in a low voice only those around him can hear*

"Looks like the corrupted Ordinators were kicked out and hunted like dogs too late for them to do a tad more damage to the people. At least they are gone now"

Amfionas sighs "So this is how it Ended...

Not fighting with thy Last Breath at the Battlefield, but killed by yon ugly Ordinators. "

Ηe pulls out from his bag a bottle of fine ale, and raises it in the air.

"To thee Kal. May thou find Happiness, and thy beloved Queen yonder!."

He drinks then a sip from the bottle and whispers "Meet thou ,Anon, on the other Side my Friend"

He walks inside the pub and sits by a remote table. He does not feel like doing anything today, besides drinking...

*stands infront of the anvil at the blacksmith*

"Without Kal to run the blacksmith... It falls to me to keep the people of Salvus and their tools in shape. Kal taught me better than ever possible, as well as my son..."

*walks over to the blistering hot forge and pulls out some materials*

"I was given these metals as gifts for what I did... and now I will make them into a sword finer than any other using what you taught me... and I will slay all those who fill their hearts with greed and corruption... Master Kal..."

*spends three days and three nights forging an amazing sword*

"At last I have finished. I promise Kal... that I will bring peace back to Asulon for you... Dawn... and all those who died as a result of those twisted minds..."

*sheathes the alloy sword in a gilded sheath and then attaches it to his belt*

"And I will bring death to that damned Lorethos and those who caused the death of so many innocent souls..."

*the wind blows past him as a large shadow flies overhead*

"of course... I'll need some help..."
