Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Indubitably.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a white, pale male with chestnut hair and hazel-green eyes. I enjoy sitting on my computer and playing games much like this one.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: It would likely depend on how much I loved the server. I would juggle LoTC with my everyday life commonly; much like I do with other games.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is to fit into a role, and to "change" your character to do so, I play dungeons and dragons three times a week, in which I play an Elven Cleric-Wizard by the name of Caelria. I also seek to join roleplay servers whenever possible much like this one, and as such, know somewhat what I am doing when it comes to the subject.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: As previously stated, I join Roleplay servers on almost every game, am familiar with the workings (having talked to several of your members) on your server, and play an Elven Cleric-Mage of Olorin in DnD.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is taking real life knowledge and things your character wouldn't know and implimenting them into the game as if he or she did.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-Gaming is abusing roleplay to get what you want and win in combat (unfairly)

What do you expect this server will be like?: A beautiful and popular roleplay server.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Pengucraft, and Rotheria Roleplay (A small server on which I used to be an admin).

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes.

What Race are you?: Elf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): High Elf

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Caelria is 575 years old, he lived most of his life as a somewhat romantic country elf, until his family and friends were slaughtered by a dragon on its migration, and his city burnt to the ground. Ever scence he has dedicated his life to calm and the study of magic in order to quell the anger within him. He is the kind of man who surrounds himself with books and studies constantly, if there is something he needs to know he will find it out one way or another.

He has blonde-white hair, and green eyes. He wears a white cloak and has a regal black undergarb which was handed down to him by his father. He aspires to rebuild a life and to aquire the skills to protect what he earns.

What is your Character's ambitions?: To become a powerful cleric-mage

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Farming or Magic

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? If he is a mage, he uses a suggestion spell to reccomend they go and apply for law abiding jobs. If not, he tries to talk his way out of it, but keeps his hand on his sword.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Just window-shopping, allow me to take a look at what you have?

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: These could belong to somebody, leave a note saying to lock up their chest and come back later.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Evening, fellows. I am currently lost, and some nourishment would be very much appreciated if you have any to spare. If not, mind pointing me in the direction of the nearest town?

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: He asks if they have negotiated with the bandits yet, if not he proceeds to help the guards eliminate them with as few deaths as possible, he will offer to forgo the reward, but if they insist he will take it.

Why did I deny you?

Your ORQs were a tad strange, you were not in your character properly, kind of in the future tense...

You answered your ORQs in the future tense. Your character is there right now, in that situation, and he is acting right now. There is no 'I would' there is 'Bob IS'. For he is there, and he is in that circumstance. You need to roleplay as you would on the server, as your character would. He is there, what is he doing? Is he running? Is he fighting? He does not get to plan ahead, there is no ‘would’ there is ‘is’ and ‘are’. Present, not future.

ORQs were short

Short answers in the ORQ section are not adequate. We need to know what your character sees, thinks, smells, feels and hears in that situation, to an extent that we are there, and we know exactly how your character would react if it were allowed into the world of Asulon.

Character had magic

Your character wants to come into Asulon knowing magic. Sadly, you cannot be accepted with magic in your application. Having magic makes you a tad overpowered, and you will have to learn magic ingame with the correct lore and guilds supporting your learning. You cannot merely come into the server with knowledge of a billion spells, you need to learn them throughout our time on the server.
