Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?

Though I must admit that my grammar may at times slip, and that I tend to misspell a couple of words, I would say that both my grammar and spelling are good enough for people online to mistake me for an Englishman. I would also like to specify that I have quite a broad vocabulary.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I would describe myself as a lone wolf, but still a wolf. I work well in teams, but I tend to prefer working alone, for I dislike the idea of having to rely on others, except when Iknow that I myself could not do better. I interest myself in history,especially medieval and ancient war history. I have an overly strong sense of justice and fairness, and will never team up against an even foe, I have no problem working in teams for a common goal, but one of the principles that I base my life on is that of one versus one. If I can’t defeat my foe, then the foe deserves victory. I have no problem with defeat, for I have no problem with the strongest winning, and I will not attack those whom are weaker than myself, unless they deliberately provoke me if they attack me or others.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: This depends entirely upon how fun it is to play on this server, but I would say a minimum of 5 hours per week, and as far up as 35 hours per week.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: To me, Roleplaying is to stay in character, to assume the role of another person, and live that person’s life,with every detail, I have attempted such things before in other games, but it does not work, seeing as few others do it.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: As I stated above, I have tried Roleplaying, but with little to no success, as I have not been in a pure Roleplaying community before.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is to use knowledge in-game, that your character had no way of knowing, like knowing someone’s name without asking them.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-Gaming is doing impossible tasks in-game, using items that you do not have, forcing actions upon others, to rob them of the ability to choose, such as throwing someone off a cliff killing them instaintly, not giving them the oppertunety to dodge or counter, or to hit someone with a hammer that you didn’t have on you.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I do not know. But I hope to be accepted so thatI may learn what it is like, I have watched the trailers, and read up on the story,but I do not know the community, as i am fairly new to a pure Roleplaying community, i will lurk around a little in the beginning, learning the ways of the server.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:None of the same seriousness, and no Roleplaying servers, servers such as Budcraft, FJ minecraft sever, and several minor servers set up by friends. I quitted most of them because the game got blunt and boring, mere building and killing did not amuse me, I felt like I was just running around placing blocks with my friends, I did not get that “escape” from reality, the real gaming experience that you get when you develop a character of your own.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:Yes, I have read and understood them, and I see no reason why I would want to break them.

Character Name: Attgeir (it means “spear” in old norse)

What Race are you?: Human What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): I seek to be a Northerner

Biography: Attgeir was born and raised as a hunter and warrior in a medium sized house in the woods. His father, Arne, was a retired mercenary, and lived off the land as a hunter, he taught Attgeir how to use both the bow and the sword, Attgeir’s mother died giving birth, and his father died of old age and sickness when Attgeir was still only 16, he had just come of age, and now had to fend for himself, he is blond-haired like he had been told his mother was, and he is quite tall, even for a northerner. His body was slender, but stronger than most, he preferred to live alone, but he welcomes those whom come to his house, he has a spare bed after his father anyway. Though he is wary of the elves, he still let them in, though as long as they are inside, he keeps his father’s old sword at arm’s length. He does not seek battle, but nor does he flee from it. He is by no means unintelligent, ratherthe opposite, and though he will choose a good meal over a good book, he spends his evenings reading some of the old books and tomes that his father had left behind. Attgeir is 28 winters old at the moment.

What is your Character's ambitions?: Attgeir seeks to refine his swordsmanship, he wishes to see more ofthe world, and especially to understand the orcs and the elves, for the only reason he fears them, is because he has almost never had any contact with them, and when he has, they have appeared strange and rather hostile to him. It is his intention to explore little by little, for he does not wish to leave his home unprotected for too long.

What is your character’s favorite tool? The sword.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? He is a good hunter and warrior, but he is also quite a diplomatic talent.

They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?: I respond by approaching them, asking them what they are doing, if the following conversation results in me being convinced they are mugging him, I will attack. If for nothing else, then for a chance for the Halfling to escape.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well-dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, whatcan I do you for today?" What is your character response?:“greetings, do you sell food or travelling supplies?”

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: I would walk away,for I would likely have no more need of it than the next traveler, if the hut isn’t abandoned after all, and the owner merely is not home, it would be stealing, if it is, I will leave this for someone whom needs it more.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond?: Greetings, may I join you? For I have become lost in the woods.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering areward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: I join the guards, but as a scout, not as a mercenary, I seek not to end my days at the age of 28.
