Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I lived a fairly normal life except that I was always looking for something more out of life. This eventually led me to a consuming addiction to crack cocaine. Approximately seven years ago I went to a rehabilitation center where I gave my life to Christ. I am now a Senior Pastor at a church in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan. I absolutely love Minecraft and I can't wait to play on your server!!

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: It will depend on how busy my week is. I would say probably around eight hours a week.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: I have been playin RPG's since Ultima first came out. So for me its about living in another world with the ability to develop a life within that world.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: Like I mentioned before I have been playing RPG's since Ultima came out. I have played everything from the first Wizardry to the first Elder Scrolls. Its my favorite kind of game.

What do you expect this server will be like?: A blast!!

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I havent played any. I looked for the best and this one caught my attention.

Character Name: Josiah

What Race are you?: Elf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Josiah, literally meaning "healed by Yahweh" or "supported of Yahweh"; is a prophet of Judah who loves the Lord God with all his heart. He was raised by his family to be a man after God's own heart. Josiah's mother and father loved him very much and sought to always give him the greatest amount of love and affection they could.

Josiah learned how to garden and mine at a very early age. Since he was the youngest of his brothers he also had to care for the sheep and the goats on the family farm. Unfortunately for Josiah he was considered a burden by all his brothers and was terribly mistreated. Josiah learned how to be the best at everything he did so that one day his brothers would accept him as one of their own. He grew up to be a kind and gentle man who would soon learn to be a noble warrior.

Josiah left his home at the age of thirty to discover adventure in a land called minecraft. Here his story would begin and his adventures will one day be recorded in the anals of minecraft history.

What is your Character's ambitions?: Josiah's greatest ambition in life is to love others as himself and to serve the kingdom with all honor an integrity.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Working with others.

Other Information about your Character: My character is a gentle and loving young man who wants to have peace and joy for himself and everyone around him. He loves to fight enemies of darkness and aspires to be the best he can be.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? My character will try to ask the warriors to stop and attempt to peaceably figure out why they are harassing the halfling. If the warriors refuse to respond and continue to attack the hafling I will probably try to save the halfling.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? He would start a conversation with the vendor of wares and try to discover more about the people and culture in Alras. He would look for an inn to stay and would search out companions to drink with and enjoy a good meal and conversation. He would then try to support the local economy by purchasing whatever wares he needs from the local vendors.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: My character will make sure that it doesn't belong to anyone and proceed to discover how to open the chest carefully ensuring that it isn't a trap.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? If I know the common tongue I will say hello and ask for the leader of the village. There I will proceed to offer my services to them however they see fit. My hope is to learn as much about them as possible and grow as friends and family.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Josiah ensures that the guards are seeking a noble task by eliminating the bandits. He requests that the guards allow him to try and make peace with the bandits and see how we can settle this feud without resorting to violence. If that is not possible Josiah will assess the situation and if he discovers that the guards are true and noble warriors he will join the fight.

Your definition of roleplaying is slightly short, however correct, we are looking for a deeper explanation to give a clear understanding of the term.

If we are asking you to define terms, then obviously we want you to know them. If you want onto this server look the terms up. We have a vast wiki page, and a forum for such things. Please put in a bit more effort. So please define metagaming and powergaming if you wanted to be white listed to the server.

Not to bash your religion but the Christain faith doesn't exist in the Lord of the Craft, so your biography breaks lore. Minecraft isn't a term used in Lord of the Craft. Please read the wiki and rules of the realm.

Your ambition is somewhat underdeveloped, and needs to be elaborated upon.

Your open response questions are too short, and do not adequately portray your character in a roleplay sense. Please apply a bit more effort when you redo them, and pour in as many details as you can.

Another note: your application fails to include any lore related material, this makes it seem like you have not read our lore or rules, which is an ominous omission indeed. Please read up on our wiki page, and try again!
