Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, but my spelling may be a little off when i rush.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I have brown hair and green eyes, and am about 5 feet and 10 inches tall. I am really friendly and people say that i have a great personality but i am willing to change my personality to fit my character when in role playing. I do not like people who are mean for absolutely no reason and will take action if I am threatened.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: 10-12 hours which might be affected by my extra courses and school.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Role-playing is acting like a given character. You have to talk like them, behave like them, think like them, and feel what they feel.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have played WoW for 2 years in the Argent Dawn server.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is using OOC information to improve you IC situation. An example of this is finding out something, such as what to avoid when traveling along a certain path before encountering it or where a hidden treasure is without using the treasure's map to find it. Meta-Gaming is usually thought of as cheating, and that is what it pretty much is.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-Gaming is when you Role-Play things which may be impossible to do, leaving the other player no chance to fight back. For example, you type in the action *player 1 stabs player 2 in the heart, instantly killing him.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect that it will have great architecture, awesome adventures, and great lore.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on some normal MC servers such a shadowraze and obsidiancraft, but they had too much building restrictions and the players griefed too much.

How did you hear about us? Did someone refer you?: I heard about this server searching for a lord of the rings server in youtube. I saw a video about you guys on OMFGCata and i knew at that moment that I wanted to join you guys more than anything.

Character Name: Kardel Thundershot

What Race are you?: Skypeak Dwarf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): None

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

On one the snowy peaks of the Misty Mountains, a baby dwarf was born. This dwarf was however, no ordinary dwarf, he was son of Borodan Thundershot, one of the greatest hunters of the Skypeak dwarfs.

Kardel's people were a very strange people, they were dwarfs who fled the old lands after the great invasion and climbed high in the mountains, hoping that they would find safety in the skies. Most dwarfs brag about how deep they dig, but the Skypeak dwarfs boasted about how high they went. They built great towers on top of the biggest mountains and were masters at using crossbows and bows.

Of course, on top of the mountains food is naturally very scarce, and this is where Kardel's story begins. The Skypeaks hunted a very curious kind of beast, the sleepstalkers. The sleepstalkers were very big, bearlike animals with meat similar to that of the deer. The Skypeaks hunted them for their thick fur and delicious meat.

One day Kardel's father took him sleepstalker hunting. Kardel was a natural at hunting. He would strike down sleepstalkers in one or two shots, something that Borodan could not do until his later years.

After some thinking, Borodan took Kardel to take the Ancient Test, a test that required the shooter to shoot down a sleepstalker 5 miles away in the head, through a certain spot, or else he would be shunned and banished from his village.

Not only did he pass the test, but he fulfilled the ancient prophecy of the skypeaks by making the one greatest shot that was only made once in one-thousand years! After learning this, his father was forced to do what the prophecy had said; he had to banish his son forever until he would make another shot just as perfect as the one he made that day.

Kardel left, heartbroken, with his bow and a few coins, only to return when he had shot the ultimate shot once again.

Age: Kardel is a very young dwarf, at the age of 52

Appearance: Kardel looks like most dwarfs, short, stubby, and has a long beard. He always wears the armor that his father gave him, and carries his bow around everywhere on his back.

Personality: Kardel is nice a very friendly an kind dwarf. He often socializes with other people and never ignores someone who wants to be his friend. He is very trustworthy and will never betray his friends, even if it means death for him.

What is your Character's ambitions?: To shoot another perfect shot and return to his home.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Kardel likes the bow because it is a traditional tool to the Skypeak dwarfs.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? He is a very good hunter and is very skilled at building small structures. In his village, he was also trained in herbal remedies, but that is not his forte.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?: Kardel stops immediately and looks at the warriors. He knows that he has to do something so he yells out "Enough now! Are you not ashamed of yourselves, stealing money from a halfling? Go mess with someone you own size!" The warriors look at him and grin, "I guess the person my size would be you! Ha! You are barely one half a foot taller than this halfling yourself! Now why don't you give us your money too and scram!" Kardel looks at the two warrior at amazement and says, "Threatening a helpless halfling was bad enough, but now you overdid it!" Kardel takes out his bow and fires a few rounds of explosive arrows at their feet. The warriors run away in fear and Kardel keeps shooting the ground to scare them even further.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?:

Kradel would reply, "'ello sir! Kardel at your service, say, ya got any good arrows? I seem to have run out." The merchant responds kindly, "Well sure i do, here you go!" *hands kardel a box full of well craftet arrows* "That should keep your bow firing for three more weeks or so!" Kardel picks up the box and hands the merchant three silver coins, " There ya go, keep the change good sir!" Kardel waves goodbye as the merchant says, "Thank you much!"

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Kardel would check the hut for signs of abandonment. Before claiming anything, he would make sure that the hut was abandoned than pick up the loot to forge arrows and to trade it for food.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?:

Kardel approaches the lead merchant and lets out a friendly "'ello there. Kardel at your service! Say, ya got any bread? Must'a been 2 days since i last had any, I'm starved!" The merchant looks at him with a smile and says "Sure we do! But we don't give free food away here! Come back when you got some coins with ya." The merchant turns around and continues talking with one of his friends. He has a grin of disgust on his face. Kardel, offended taps on the merchant's shoulder and says "Exuse me sir, but i got something more precious than coins, a golden blade, and who said that i ever wanted anything for free?" The merchant turns around looking annoyed and says "Look, don't bluff with me, bums like you are all the same..." *Kardel takes out the blade, the merchant's eyes open and he quickly says* "Of course you do, i will go and get some tasty food for you right away sire!" The merchant turns around to get some soup for Kardel with a look of amazement in his eyes.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Kardel Agrees to help, and finds a high place where he can get some clear shots from. He finally climbs up a tall tree and shoots some of his best explosive arrows at the ground near the bandits, giving the impression that they are being bombed. The bandits run around trying to avoid these shots and run away on all fours as Kardel keeps shooting to make sure that they never return again.
