Just as he is about to retire to his bedroom, Mirtok hears a faint bellow of a horn, the obsidian guard's horn. Quickly snapping out of his drowsy state he grabs his ax and sprints towards the direction of the blast. Another horn is head coming from The Maw, Mirtok quickens his pace in that direction. Upon approaching the large metal gates he see his brother Darius conversing with a group of beaten and fearful people. Humans and Dwarves alike were present among the poor travels with temple monks acting as their protectors.

Seeing the group confused Mirtok greatly as he had placed signs instructing incoming people to turn away as the nation is on full scale lock down. His soldiers warned Mirtok of a plague that was sweeping the land from the north, and as a result Mirtok tried to halt it's spread into his land by enacting phase two of Operation Black Curtain. However, he was quickly informed on the groups reason for arrival, his masks. Some how his newly developed technology was leaked to the outside world and now people were flooding to acquire one.

At first Mirtok was reluctant to hand over any assistance or allow the group entrance for fear of infection, but eventually Mirtok succumbed to their stricken state. After a short discussion with his soldiers Grand Sariant Maur and his Obsidian Guard Lion, Mirtok decided to give up several masks along with an accompanying handbook.

Seeing those people forced Mirtok towards compassion and sympathy. He then followed up by allowing the Dwarven members to take the masks back to their Dwarven city for mass production, ensuring that all of Asulon has a chance at salvation form the plague. Before the group turned back towards the cloud temple, Mirtok issued a promise to them and to all peoples of Asulon. In the event that people are turned from their homes or forced from their communities, Mirtok would accept them.

He sent scouts to find a suitable place for a refugee village and to begin construction for the new camp. As long as this plague ails Asulon, Hanseti will be there with it's full force to combat the situation, to aid the fallen, and to end this nightmare!
