Hey, me again. I know what you're thinking "What are you doing here!? You're not the Undead leader anymore! You and Zombez died and rerolled as Halflings!!!" My response would be, for you to shut up as you know nothing and are inferior. We build the damn race so we're more than able to speak here, don't like it? Well... thats a shame and I'm sorry you feel that way. Plus, I do the Villain applications, so you better stay on my goodside or i'll take your name off the list :P.

Regardless I was recently contacted by someone who aspired to be an Iblees worshiper. "I don't know how!" he said to me with much dismay, but I stood on the hilltop shooting lightning out of my fingers as my cape flapped in the wind behind me. "Fear not I will respond!" And I did, and while I was responding to the PM, I thought. "Everyone should know this!" So here I am, copying my reply here for you. I'll be back to edit it and make it easier to read another time, but until then. Enjoy, and I hope it helps.

That really only applies to people looking to join the Undead, and that is only half the battle. The BEST way to join the undead and get recruited is to have THEM want YOU. To do that, you have to not "try" to get recruited at all. Confusing I know. Staying Isolated works sometimes, but what works even more is blending in. I mean REALLY blend in, so people don't even know OOCLY you're evil. Make sure you talk privately to the ones that do know so you can work out something to keep it secret for RP sake. That might even mean giving a victim their stuff back. Even if you're not trying to become undead and would like to worship Iblees on your own, the following will all be helpful:

Keep in my where you stand with Iblees. Iblees is a Deity. You can't contact him so don't try, but you can contact the Undead if you're clever and they can contact him. I recommend leaving them alone though since they like fire and lightning more than you, especially when both are combine with you.

Try doing evil things, on the surface some evil things are Killing and sacrifice. OH SURE, anyone can do that. Hell, I did it as a Hal-fling in my farms 'cause some guy wouldn't get out of my pumpkin patch. If a half-ling can do it, anyone can. Not impressive. (BTW a sacrifice is just a killing that is roleplayed even further, often involving the victim to be captured. How you capture them is up to you.) Whats really impressive is when you start being mischievous.

Try doing things that don't even involve you directly! Convince people to kill each other so your hands are clean. Start a war between two nations or towns so that they're distracted and Iblee's army (The undead) can march in and attack. Help the undead as best you can, do scouting. Maybe even try to get into a position of power, like an Oren Guard, or an Elf prince, whatever! Have fun with it. Just keep in mind, you're goal is to help Iblees' pursuit of claiming the world. However you do that is up to you.

Read Wyrds post on being Evil in the villain applications section again and look carefully at the different kinds of evil. Also, be well informed on the rules, it's your best weapon against metagamers and keeping yourself out of trouble.

Scouting and gaining trust is a really funny thing (especially if the people trust you so much they give you permissions and minas hehe). For example *Edited out to be anonymous* and me where in Kal'Alras, just 2 hours before the Attack. We know the city, we know the people and how to get in without being noticed.

What about my skin? Mysterious or not? And the name?

Undead have to stay hidden and wear robes because they're bodies are falling apart and decaying. You aren't falling apart and decaying, take advantage of it. :).

Also, "Joe" is better than "Mysterious_Stranger_of_Mysterious_Secretness_Worshiper_of_Iblees". Some people can't help themselves but to metagame. Don't give those people the opportunity to. Be Joe, the villainous traitor of backstabby jerkery. Joe sounds more innocent.

The Undead will know when you're evil when you start doing things that get people talking in OOC. The GM's know most of everything there is to know that goes on, and we help the Undead oocly to find people (Metagame, I know wahhwahh wahh you try winning a battle with only 4 people against 100.) We heard about one guy for example who was being talked about left and right by an Elf GM for doing evil things and stirring up trouble. If you're good at what you do, the undead will find you and know you. If you suck at it, well keep practicing, try something different.

If not they are going to meta and stuff, all in all this brings the attention of the GM's and the Undead Recruiters (who are almost always in OOC)
