ℓαтєяяє ~ 236 Share Posted June 4, 2012 I'm going to say this here: I don't think the Kharajyr should come over. I think we should spread back to the four main races, and stick with them for a long time. The Kha' have no IC reasoning to come over. They're completely good on their own island, and were always on Asulon. Why would they come over to a new world?
no longer active 734 Share Posted June 4, 2012 Why should anyone else! Until we have a lore reason for this I can't see how we can choose which ones move except for the Mori.
Hiebe 2493 Author Share Posted June 4, 2012 People need to understand this is a work in progress. Offer your lore and we can do a poll on it.
no longer active 734 Share Posted June 4, 2012 What I mean is we don't have a destruction lore yet so we can't say who is moving. If for example the Lharajry island was burned down and someone went on a purge to kill them and succeeded I don't think they would be moving on as a race. This could happen to any race. My reasoning for the Mori is as everyone has said, I don't think they would leave their holy caves. If however there is lore provided for why they move I'm sure they could also. PoseidonisKing 15 Share Posted June 5, 2012 Idea for how to get to the island Instead of one big move, we could move slowly to this new place. Let's say a team of adventures go out in search of a new land, the team would have 1-2 people from race traveling with them. They come back and find a amazing land/islands and tell their kingdoms. All of Aulson wants to go, so each nation starts sending ships there, making new nations etc (Only open to builders, reps from nations, not the public)... Now, in RP this would happen over years, as the new land is being built a horrible disaster happens in Aulson forcing everyone to rush there. Maybe when they arrive there could be no souls around, a mysterious event happened or when they arrive it could be peaceful. Contact me if anyone would like further detail. TheNinox 59 Share Posted June 5, 2012 At least keep the Halflings/Hobbits around. We'll keep our new "Shire/Vale" clean, safe, and out of the way in the new version! Promise!
Mingpow321 285 Share Posted June 5, 2012 Who wouldn't want the halflings/hobbits to stay around? Without them, the orcs might just starve to death...
Hiebe 2493 Author Share Posted June 5, 2012 Lol HOBBITS Also I like your Idea.... I wanted to do expeditions to the new land to get it ready for the new settlers.... but 3.0 will hold many secrets... nothing is set in stone
Dun_Irongut 104 Share Posted June 5, 2012 If you are to make another map, everything must be perfect. We've already come to Asulon, spent hours building our cities, and developed a significant culture, etc. We definitely require an extreme amount of dungeons with intricate story lines, a way to limit the amount of those in power (not too strictly), and I'd love to see it come with the release of the custom launcher. However, all the time we've put into this map is significant and many question if the transition was any good. Significant time will need to be spent so that this is the last and final map for quite some time.

Space 2335 Share Posted June 6, 2012 Did I say this already? Meh. No temple, just 1 big city. Still have everything... Just no temple. Still have other cities, but instead of a temple have a city.

the GOAT of the craft 606 Share Posted June 6, 2012 One city will not work. People want to have seperate cultures.... I believe it would work remarkably well actually. If you've ever played The Shivering Isles DLC for Oblivion then you'll know what I mean. The entire island was split into two, allowing for two very contrasting cultures to be right next to each other. We could easily do this. The city could be split into 4. Why 4? The Mori would have their own smaller section in the Elven sector. As for the Kharajyr, they need to be thought out. Perhaps a place outside the city? Each sector would be huge of course. The city would have one main ruler, who would be decided in the final event. Each sector is ruled by another person who answers directly to the main ruler. I'm not saying I want one city, but it could work.
