Fickloch Testing Initiative: We do what we must because we can!

Fickloch; A place for correctional progression and scientific development. They say all science is built off of the shoulders of giants- but not here. We do everything from scratch, no piggybacks. You can trust in us that every Fickloch Testing Initiative Subject is properly dealt with to yield the greatest number of beneficial research progressionary movements for the good of the Empire. The following is a collection of publicly released prisoner files. Their identities have been withheld as well the research project they were subjected to.

Subject #3

Name: XXXXX

Subject 3: [[Redacted]]

XXXXX: The subject is not displaying the desired effects of the substance, prepare this one for Hammer and Anvil and have the boys take him to the pits for disposal.

Subject 3: Kill me! Do anything to get me away from that thing!

((The case file described in the passage above was based on true events and spontaneous RP. The subjects taken to Fickloch are given no RP aid on how to react to the substances tested on them, thus it is all improv. The more impressive events will be posted on this thread much like this one.))

*A message birds arrives to Mirtok reading*: I know.

[[Your men did not blindfold me, and actually let me walk for a bit, and I was sitting in the cell a long time, thus I kept some of my memory heading to the prison and Dain is a mean bean]]

Fickloch Testing Initiative: We do what we must because we can!

(( Obvious Portal reference is obvious. PERPETUAL Testing Initiative, COOPERATIVE Testing Initiative, and the tests done on Chell. Now GLaDOS is making a testing initiative with a prison? Also, reason why you stole Aperture's slogan? ))

*The Once Wolverine Lieutenant nods to the sariants as he reads the note, remembering barely making it back to the shore after his release*

"If I see anymore "thieves" on the roads I will let you "House" them."

*Sighs and walks off*

((When did I say you can experiment on one of my people?))

((The name escapes me right now, but one day in the capitol there was a man causing you some sort of trouble. I offered to take him to Fickloch, you told me to give him a nice meal and comfy bed- which I did. However, after that we proceeded to test our products on him so that we can properly synthesis and pinpoint the correct dosage.))

((Don't know what those memories will do for you, your time in fickloch did the exceed the 30min mark and thus you would only remember being escorted to some place in the snow. Secondly, *shurgs*, knowing won't stop what we do.))

(( Obvious Portal reference is obvious. PERPETUAL Testing Initiative, COOPERATIVE Testing Initiative, and the tests done on Chell. Now GLaDOS is making a testing initiative with a prison? Also, reason why you stole Aperture's slogan? ))

((I can safely say what we do in Fickloch differs highly from the Aperture Science Laboratories, but Aperture plays a heavy influence on what we do. In fact, there are several references that y'all have been missing from many universes, the ones you pointed out are the most obvious. The Fickloch Testing Initiative just sounds nice and so happens to be several projects in the portal/half-life universe. Chell's tests and the tests that our subjects go through are dramatically different. Chell experienced primarily physical and mental challenges while our subjects are fed an assortment of substances while we record what happens. We also test the integrity of human/elf/orc/dwarf skulls when put under extreme force, I.E my hammer. The burning point and product of incinerating humans/orcs/elves/dwarves and much much more. As for Glados, boy oh boy would I like to find a way to take a bunch of peoples brains and mash them together to get me an organic computer but alas we are still banging rocks together to see what happens. Finally, Cave Johnson is a great man whom I take great pride in modeling the testing initiative after. He is insane but innovative, his research may seem useless but look at what Aperture Science became! From simple shower curtains to artificial intelligence to portals. Now take a look at Black Mesa; They do science the "correct" way where people don't get hurt or some of the subjects aren't turned into tumor ridden slag heaps.

Oh yeah, "We do what we must because we can" is also our slogan simply because that's it! Many of our prisoners have done nothing wrong, but through doing nothing wrong we experiment the lights out of them and create a brighter future . . . or something like that. Our research is also backed highly by government funding and a lot of blind eyes if you catch my drift.))

Dain trudges out of the sturdy obsidian doors of Fickloch with a small grin on his face. The blood on his uniform shows he has been hard at work inside the prison.

"So maneh new prisoners lateleh."

Dain shrugs.

"Always good teh stay buseh."

((did not see sign saying it was broken and there was a hole in the top I did not activate it from inside))

((Damage reversed and RP voided. The lift to get down there was broken as stated by the sign at the top and therefore you would have no means of getting down without injury or up. Also, you fell into the "testing chamber" (Fuel Cell) and detonated TnT from the inside. The damage radius present on the chamber would have certainly killed you. Even using a single stick would have messed you up))
