  1. 1. Do you want the Dynmap labelled?

    • Yes, I do. Label everything!

    • No, I don't. Don't label anything.

    • No, I don't. Only label important things like the Capitals and Cloud Temple

    • Maybe. Let players label their own things!

I wish there was a dynomap I could save locally to my HD, and edit myself. Then I could add places I have seen myself and "sell" maps.

I'll check my hard-drive and see what I can find.

This is why you'll get a statue someday.

Might be a bad Idea Domain, most map renderers use mosaic tiling, IE a lot of small pictures to make up one big picture. The Dynamap at the moment probably consists of 1-2 gigabytes worth of .pngs

You'd probably be better off to take a picture with Shift + Printscreen (or was it alt... ) and copy it to a PSD or GIMP file to edit from there.

I'm not worried, I have a 2 Terabyte HD hardly dented in, and 16gigs of ram to render any images. The better quality the better!

The map looks TOO crowded! It is a tool that is highly useful for new players. Label only important places such as towns, docks, capitals, and maybe inns... It might be nice to have a feature on the map that tells you who owns that thing on the map...

For the love of simplicity do not label everything. Label important places and create a sub forum for label requests. And have some guidelines as to what can be labeled and what cannot be. Last thing I want to do is launch the map to look over some terrain and have nothing but icons flooding the screen. Not to mention any war nation will use said information secretly to make war claims and such.

Or maybe an option to turn off non important labels? Important labels would be nation capitals, spawn ect.

It looks crowded, because players build everywhere and make it so.

I dont think labeling is necessary, maybe spawn, but that's it. Players should find things and label them for themselves

I meant crowded by the labels not the space being used for buildings... The amount of structures within a certain space does not matter. In fact it helps when everything is really close together. I agree that an option to turn off labels would be very nice.

Ever thought about making an mobile map app for iPhones an such?
