Admiral Shu Jing woke up to the sound of a horrifying shriek as hundreds of wooden planks snapped. He climbed out of bed as quickly as can be, grabbing the sheath of his rappier and attaching it to his belt. Looking out the window he only saw sea, Holm was nowhere in sight. He opened his door to see Captain Robert Howe still fast asleep. Shu opened the door to be welcomed by the stars above and the smell of the ocean. Looking down on the decks, he saw what had awoken him. Pirates roamed the deck, at which the front-portion of the deck was shredded due to the woods old age and being unable to support itself in such rough seas. Admiral Shu Jing made his way down the stairs, unsheathing his rapier. He could hear shouts and screams break out from the sailors quarters. Shu approached the first pirate, unleashing a flurry of jabs and stabs towards his gut, blocking left and right as their blades collided. The wood below their feet began to creek, the floor suddenly dropped under Shu's weight sending him smashing into the decks below. A pirate tackled him from behind and held him down whilst another slammed a boot into his face, effectively breaking his nose. Blood poured out rapidly from his now broken now.

The pirate atop Shu stood, bringing Shu himself up onto his feet, Shu leaned forward to spit the blood away from his mouth, without realizing, the pirate before him swung his cutlass, effectively killing the pirate behind Shu. Captain Robert Howe made his way down the staircase into the lower decks, pressing his blade against the pirate. Captain Howe quickly imprisoned the pirate, Admiral Jing collected his rapier and ran off upstairs onto the main deck. The door to the sailors quarters exploded open as Terryn tackled a pirate out into the open. Shortly Captain Howe pushed past Shu and charged into the quarters. Shu held the hilt of his rapier tight, he strode to the downed pirate and brought blow after blow down onto him. The ship began to rock and tilt from side to side. Everyone on the ship began to lose balance and fall over. Shu lost his footing and slammed into the railing, watching as his opponent slid across the deck to the other side of the ship. Shu quickly regained his footing, several sailors stood beside him and chased down the pirate, quickly capturing him. A wrenching tear was heard as the front mast began to collapse, slamming down hard onto the decks, sending an explosion of splinters and wood outwards.

On all sides of the ship, pirates and the Royal Navy were bringing blade against blade in a furious battle. Victory seemed to come closer and closer. The pirates were gutted or imprisoned shortly. Shouts of command were called as sailors scurried about the boat. Shu ordered Captain Rogers to take the helm whilst Captain Howe was to watch the prisoners. Nooses were shortly made while other sailors ran about the ship frantically repairing what little could be repaired. The sound of choking pirates could be heard as they were hung over the side of the ship. The battle was swift, decisive and hard won. The last of the remaining pirate prisoners was brought before Admiral Shu Jing, forced to his knees. The Admiral held his blade close to the pirates throat, speaking aloud to his entire crew and the lone pirate "I, Admiral Shu Jing of Holm's Royal Navy, hereby sentence you to death." and with that last final word, Shu Jing thrust his rapier into the pirates throat. The pirate suffered a long agonizing death as the crew of the HMS Emperor King watched.
