To The Gate Guards.

A brown hooded figure scooches towards a bulletin and stands in front of it for a brief moment, before quickly sticking a note upon it. Realizing the note is slightly sideways, the figure tilts it so that it's perfectly straight. Nodding with satisfaction, the figure walks away briskly.

Upon coming closer to the note, you can see it's written in scrawny jumpy writing, as if written with frustration and annoyance.

Good day guards or citizens of Normandor,

I was returning to my home in Normandor a few days ago, and the gates, as always, was left down. I called out into town to see if anyone was around and... as always, no one was.

I don't know how long I just stood there, but soon, it was night and I was still unable to get inside my OWN HOUSE. I instead, had to travel in the dark, by myself and with absolutely no protection, to another town of which a good friend of mine let me stay for the night (It was rather far away too!).

It has come to my attention that the gates in Normandor are OFTEN left down when there are no guards around at all.

Many people have been unable to get in OR OUT of Normandor, sometimes being forced to find shelter elsewhere (As did I) from the monsters and evils that roam this land, or taking a dangerous dive off a bridge and then SWIMMING for quite a long while, just to get out of town. Both of these are quite dangerous situations, and people may be hurt or killed, just because of a gate that was left down and forgotten about.

I am asking the guards to please, please, PLEASE, leave the gates up for citizens and visitors alike, when there are absolutely no guards around to open them.

This is a major inconvenience and quite frankly, a rather big annoyance.

* A young elven woman reads the note. She finds herself nodding in agreement. She writes a note in return.*

I too have been subject to this. It is most annoying.

* Upon to taking notice of the frustrated message he reads intently addressing the concern of the citizen *

Fear not friend, I saw the Warden Iatrilemar Elervathar leave a sign in the city barracks about this issue. Hopefully this matter is now resolved.

*Applies his own comment apon this certain matter:

"I have to whole heartly agree with this, when I come to Normandor I do not expect to recieve the same welcome as the high elves bring. You are becoming more like them with each passing day it seems. Shutting out the peoples of this world will only bring more distrust into your mists. Let fly your doors or else feel the coldness of misunderstanding.

- A concerned Wizard"

After finishing, he quickly turns and walks off, walking staff in hand to continue his never ending travels.
