I've been playing on this server for about two-three weeks now (Lost track of time) and absolutely love it. I'm a Mori'Quessar ICly and have been approved for my VA.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I'm on the server/LotC Forums about 3-4 hours daily.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying is where you take part in the story of a fictional character's life, shaping and molding it to your own in a fun and creative way.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I've been RPing on this server as a Mori'Quessar for about 2-3 Weeks now.

Meta-Gaming is when Lucy posts on the forums that her character got in a fight with some orcs.

Later I ICly ask her if she wants to take revenge on those orcs.

Lucy never told me ICly that she was attacked, so the only way my character knows is through Meta-Gaming.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Appearance:

Large pale blue orbs shine from soft, slate-grey skin such as Lapis would shine from the surface of a dark stone. Framing this are long silver and brunette locks that tumble over the female Mori's shoulders in a neat fashion. Her clothing is little, a thin piece of cloth that covered the width of her bosom woven from mushroom fibers with a soft silken lining, paired with a short wrap that reaches down to her thighs. From her wrists and long, knife-bladed ears hang earrings and bracelets of gold and precious gemstones while her face held a look of wisdom that stretched well beyond her years.

Personality:

Karilth (110 Human Years) is as quiet as the caves she dwells, choosing to say nothing even when posed with a question. Her silence leads some to believe that she is in fact mute, usually busying herself with scribbling on a piece of parchment. Although when she does speak, it is not without purpose choosing only words of wisdom and favor to her Goddess. She can be usually found in the background of any interesting coming and going, a shadow to the natural life that records anything out of dull routine in her signature dark blue cave-chalk.

History:

Karilth was born the eighth, yet smallest child of Veriya Jek'ril. She quickly found favor in the eyes of her Matron mother as she had been the Mori's first daughter. Her Mother lavished the frail child with gifts, expensive dress, heavy golden earings and other things of worth. For this reason, her seven brothers grew to despise her. Despite all their hard work and achievement, Karilth was praised and displayed as the prodigy child.

Behind their Matron Mother's back, the brothers would punish their sister brutally for her fortune. A good word from their mother earned Karilth a boxing to the ears once she had left the room. Threats of being drug out into the deep caves and left alone kept the weak Mori girl from speaking with any adult of her torment. Her life revolved around the motto, "Natha xan'ss telanthus zhah natha zotreth a'till" or "A word spoken is a strike earned".

Karilth's escape was within the pages of her writing. It was often she would sit upon the large fountain in the center of the Byr'shuk District and weave tales of the beautifully dressed Mori women that would pass her. It wasn't until a Yathrin inquired the small child about her writings that her talents were discovered. Impressed by her skills and observations, the woman took Karilth to the Library where she met with the Head Scholar. With her house's permission, the once weak girl became a Record Keeper for the Mori.

To fill the almost empty history section of the library with her writings of Mori life and major events.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Nearly blind pale blue eyes squinted through the thin cloth of her blindfold towards the pair of warriors ahead. She could barely make out the shape of a halfling through the dark fabric, seeing he was in distress. A small smile curved across her pale lips as she gave her pen a small flick, leaning her mushroom fiber notebook up against a large rock to record the interesting sight she encountered whilst traveling from Cloud Ruler Temple.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Karilth blinked at the posh looking man through the soft spider silk of her blindfold, pale eyes adjusting slowly to make out his shape through the fabric. One of her large, knife-bladed ears flicked as the noise of the hustle and bustle around her seemed to pick up, so unlike the silence she had been used to in the caves. The sudden sound of commotion in the crowd caught her attention as she suddenly forgot about the merchant standing impatiently in front of her. Without a response, Karilth quickly darted off towards the upset, curiosity getting the better of her.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Karilth's long, sensitive fingers brushed along the tip of the sword before drawing back quickly as a thin trail of blood began to trickle down from the tip of her index finger. It was just dark enough in the hut that she couldn't make out anything but the light shining from the windows through her blindfold. She dare not take it off, however, for fear of blindness from the light. Unsure of what exactly she had stumbled upon, Karilth lifted herself to her feet slowly before making her way back towards the door, using the wall as a guide. She would record this interesting find in her journal later, the land above was so full of interesting aspects.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Glanced confused towards the merchants as they spoke in an unfamiliar language. Her mind struggled to make sense of their words as the smell of food flooded her senses. Pleading sounds began to rise up in her throat as her hand motioned towards the smell of hog roasting on the fire pit. Her motions began to get more frantic as she felt her desperation rising with the feeling of gnawing hunger in her stomach.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Karilth stands a little ways beyond the crowd, the shadows beginning to grow longer as the day drew to an end. Moving back into the shadows further, she removed her blindfold carefully as she hid herself in a dark, lightless corner of the square. Reaching into her travelling robes, she pulled out a worn notebook and a chunk of dark blue chalk from the caverns of her homeland, Menorcress. She sighed inwardly as her finger fumbled with the piece of chalk to sketch the gathering of humans just beyond her shadowy corner.
