I am a teenager who wishes to roleplay in a server which is not filled to the brim with metagaming. I enjoy gaming, building advanced structures in minecraft, and cooking.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

I think I could manage 1-2 hours daily on the server.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying to me means stepping into a characters shoes. Using not YOUR judgement but the characters emotional and physical traits to affect what he does in-game.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I have some experience in roleplaying, I'll admit, I have infact LARP'd

The act of meta-gaming, to me anyways, is when you use OOC knowledge to make an in-character decision and/or tactic

Power-Emoting is when you use emoting to make an unblockable, uncounterable action against another player. For Example: "Kai walks up to [Player] and decapitates him using only the leaf of an elm tree"

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect this server to be an somewhat enjoyable pass-time of mine.

I have played on many minecraft servers- most of them not being per-say "left" by me but more... forgotten

I heard about you from PetriDaGamerNerd and I believed this would be a fun server to play on.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Kai, a brown-haired, somewhat scrawny, light-skinned, male had rather sad upbringing. Raised in poverty he knew how to deal with not having enough... anything really, raised off little love, compassion, and food, he was mocked by other families in the streets, often hearing the hushed whispers of parents pitying him, saying they wish they could help. But they never did, no, no-one ever helped little scrawny, worthless Kai. No-one. He wasn't entirely lonely though, The librarian tried to teach him to read and write, for this too, he was mocked. The librarian brought him the only gift he had ever gotten, knowledge. At age 10 he was reading and writing fluently, Age 13 he got got a job at the local orchard, recording the shipments and prices of apples, the other employees wages , the profits, expenses, and all other numerical tasks. He could finally have something to eat three times a day. His life was getting better... slowly.

His mother never thanked him, never praised him, never hugged him, never loved him. Kai provided for his mother, who had fallen deathly ill in her mid 40's. When his mother was on her deathbed, she whispered softly in his ear " You're no son of mine." The color drained from his face as much as it did from hers. He pulled away his hand from his frail mother's as it dropped, lifeless to the ground.

He never again helped another, permanently scarred by his mother's final, harsh words. Weeks after his mother's death it was announced a noble was going to be visiting and he would need a place to stay. The ruler, naturally decided to build an entire house on the outskirts of the slums, Kai's house was, ofcourse "in the way of progression" in the ruler's words. He was evicted from his only home. In order to stay alive, Kai resorted to petty theivery, pickpocketing and the like. But one day, his hand slipped into the wrong pocket..

As his hard calloused hands slipped into the trousers of an old man, he heard the two words he had always feared.

"GAURDS! THIEF!"

He heard their steel blades being drawn from their scabbards and his instincts kicked in. He bolted towards the gates, running faster and longer then he knew he could. For what seemed like days, he ran. Never stopping, until he simply fainted from exhaustion.

A passing merchant saw his frail body on the ground, took pity on him and brought him to the temple.

There, weeks later-

He bolted upright, and awoke.

To see the world with his own eye's and make a friend that he doesn't have to care for

Open-Response-Questions

Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

As Kai exits the temple, he notices a halfing being robbed at blade-point, After quickly going over the various outcomes in his head, he decides to let them take the money, after all- what little money he had would probably be stolen from him if he tried to help. As he walks by, one of the bandits spies him and nudges his friend, Kai, not noticing the two armed men coming up behind him continues walking, on of them lunges with his blade and cuts the back of Kai's Calf as the pain spreads through his body, he drops to the ground. The two armed men begin seaching Kai for anything of value. They find nothing on him and let out consecutive growls mumbling something in Orcish He couldn't understand. The second bandit raises his foot to kick him in the head. Kai gives into his natural instincts and grabs the bandit's foot pulling him to the ground, Kai- Surging With adrenaline let's out of flurry of fists and feet bruising the man and causing him to drop his weapon, Kai quickly picks it up, knowing the other armed man would have heard the racket. He quickly jumps to his feet as he hears the rusting of a pair of boots coming towards him. He other bandit seeing his friend bruised and beaten on the ground charges blindy in a fit of rage at Kai. Kai nimbly leaps out of the way and brings his blade down hard on the bandit's lower lumber. The other man crumples into a heap and hits the ground with a *Thud* Kai searches them but finds only sweat and bad smell. The halfing is no-where to be found.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Kai responds " I don't have any Minas on me" the merchant then is suddenly distracted by some small insect you can't see. Kai simply looks at the merchant and then leaves. He then continues on his way.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Kai would casually check around, Ask if anyone is home and if he would receive no reply , walk into hut and take the items. He would then leave, and forget it ever happened

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Kai responds "Hey, are you selling any food? I have some iron and a gold sword to trade you for it."

(Assuming they accepted the transaction)

Kai then walks towards his goal once again

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Kai volunteers to help the guards eliminate the bandits, but only after asking what the reward was. He would follow rather far behind the party and see if he could sneak behind the bandit's and suprise them while distracted.

Accepted. Keep in mind that your character should not do any villainous activities until he has a villain application. No stealing, no mugging, nothing of the sort.
