A Hooded Man Enters Cloud Temple

Recommended Posts

*You see a hooded man enter cloud temple and nail a parchment to a pillar. He departs as swiftly as he entered, and you step closer to see what he has posted. The parchment is made of thick, high quality paper, and the writing is carefully and precisely executed:

"Many believe destiny and legend are written in the stars, but what if I were to tell you they are instead written in stone? Stone is the medium through which all history is born. It holds no hatred for race or gender, but instead yields only to the hands of those that are worthy. Under a master craftsman's tools, stone can become anything.

Through the ages, kingdoms and kings will fall, but stone will stand firm. The fortressess and monuments we leave on this land will be looked upon for generations. So I ask you this... do you want your memory written on the bedrock of this world? The decision is now in your hands. Leave a note with the inn keeper ((OOC- Send a forum message to this account)) stating "So shall my story be written in stone", and he will make sure it finds my hands. We will come calling."

Laku looks calmly at the note as he reads it. Then he sits down and begins to meditate. After thinking for a while, he leaves the cloud temple and climbs a tall tree until he finds what he's searching for. A birds nest. And what luck, the bird is asleep. Laku gently grabs the bird and attaches a note to it. The bird, as is it's obligation, flies away to deliver the note.
