"They attacked me in broad daylight and stole a D'Hharan Shop from us. We can not stand for this! There was no asking, no negotiation or even previous contact when suddenly five of them came out of no where. I was there alone and stood no chance. They are beasts without honor. If they want to fight dirty and take things by force, we are gonna take it right back!" Codrik Slams his fist on the table again and his mean all cheer! "OOHRA!" The men all shout in unison. * Codrik hammers a note to the shop. * "You think you can just take things by force? Think again! You will rue the day you acted like a savage in a civilized world." "signed- The true and rightful owner of this shop" * Codrik storms off and prepares to take back the D'Haran shop * [EDIT] *More RP added below
Kickstarted and Running 965 Share Posted July 17, 2012 This looks interesting. I'll see what the Orcs have to say before a verdict is declared, but I can almost guarantee this is going to pass. Orcs seems to be attacking these kind of shops a lot now, plus they are always up for a good fight.

Cracker 4570 Share Posted July 17, 2012 Gorgul smirks. Finally the shopkeeper shows some resilience, some resistance, some gall. He does not enjoy being called honorless, and he did offer D'Hara an option. But he will fight, and bring those who be his allies to armed combat as well. He will bring both savages and civilized to this conflict, and see who truly deserves this shop. Krug will decide. ( Yea, this isn't the best time...I need to know my schedule and who's getting on at 5 am on a Sunday, or even 3 am on a Sunday for us Americans Let me see how my schedule fits, and we'll balance a time in the future. Otherwise the only thing I really care for is the golden apple rule. And this should be a fun fight, I'm anticipating it'll be bigger than it should be for a little shop. )
Brevias 275 Share Posted July 17, 2012 ( There are no surprise attacks. The defenders should be able to call in allies too, wouldn't make sense otherwise. )
Braxis 813 Share Posted July 17, 2012 ((War Claims for taking regions can not be a surpise attack. Mog has stated so in the past. And can you please make it more friendly for Est players time wise?))
ShadowNinji 34 Author Share Posted July 17, 2012 ((...And can you please make it more friendly for Est players time wise?)) [[i play mostly during Australian hours. The original war claim to take the shop was done during a time when none of the players of my city could be on, It was me alone against 5 Orcs. I see it only fair that I can attack the shop during the time of my choosing, while my players are online.]]
Kickstarted and Running 965 Share Posted July 17, 2012 He has a point, even if it was an Orc raid. I guess you just have to be flexable for him. Maybe make it an hour or two later though? It might be nice.
ShadowNinji 34 Author Share Posted July 17, 2012 * After discussing it with his council, Codrik decides that it would be the best course of action to consult with the monks about this issue first. After all the shop was purchased from the monks and is located on Temple grounds. After some time of walking around cloud temple, Codrik finally found a monk to speak to. He tells the monk of the tale of how this shop purchased from the monks on Temple land had been forcibly taken by a thug merchant Orc.* * The Monk's of Cloud Temple insist the Orc merchant decease with his course of action and return the shop to it's owner. *
Noahjam325 53 Share Posted July 17, 2012 ((I think it would be entertaining roleplay if you left the time. Then the orcs retliate at THEIR time. Then it becomes a back and forth conflict where both parties finally say (in character of course) "Wait wait wait. We just keep swapping. This isn't working.")) Cracker 4570 Share Posted July 17, 2012 ( Just curious, how would I go about contacting the "monks". I would like to RP with the monks prior to the warclaim just so I can get their understanding. I could not find any monks ICly at the temple, so I may just need to send an RP letter to someone. )

Seliyne 196 Share Posted July 19, 2012 [[ The Monks do not condone violence on their land, especially over material possessions and the such. The forceful taking of the shop could be seen as a invasion of Temple lands by a hostile force. I will talk to Escharian, the head monk (as far as I know) about this, and see what his thoughts are and what our standpoint should be upon this. Personally, if Neri sees anyone being attacked upon temple lands, she will defend them.]] Neri stands with Codrik, looking up at the stall, now 'owned' by the Orcs of the War Uzg. "I can't believe they would do something such as this. It's a blatant disregard to the our work, and shall be dealt with as necessary. I will not allow violence on our land, by any party. If I see anyone fighting upon these grounds, they will be removed from it, violent or not. This is an act of self-defense. However, this is my view, not the Monks. Do not take this as a official decree, by any means." she states, one hand on her hip, the other around the shaft of her longstaff. She sighs, and walks away back to the Sanctuary to continue her work.
