Steel Flows In the Vale!

A blacksmith in the vale

Hello Fellow residents of The Vale! As you can see by the heading I Aris Snowbird have returned from my long journey to the kingdom of Kal'Alras, Where I apprenticed with an old Dwarven smith for six or so seeds. I am very happy to be home but even more happy to say that I will now be opening my services to my fellow residents. I certainly don't have the steel mastery of my Dwarven teacher but I can. Shoe your horse, fix your plow or weapons even do some binding of stone tools and smith iron and steel . As I mine and smith all my own ores and this is a very long and laborious process I am hard pressed on time and materials. I am also donating half of all I mine and smelt to the city as I feel it is only fair and I hope to repay the deed the elders have done by building my burrow for free. I'm sorry I'm rambling a bit on this letter but in short I have little supplies as far as iron goes but I have resigned not to charge for any of my services but as a result I might not be able to smelt what you need right away.

I hope despite these hinderences I can still serve you with whatever task you set me to.

Thank you,

Aris Snowbird

A note is pinned to the Blacksmith's door.

"hello! I am Ranley, you may remember me from our meeting. (Sheriff Lobo and Elder Tibb and Ms Littleknight were there too!) I do a bit of traveling, and have some Iron ore from the mine in Varevik. While iron is precious of late, I'd like to donate it t' the city of Branborough. ((14 ore)) give me a holler if you see me round town, you need it more than I.

Aris digs out his old letter from his dry leathery notebook he scribbles down a note in black ink then heads to the message board to pin it at the top

Hello fellow hobbits! I would just like to say after years of hard work and study's with old dwarven masters I have come to what I believe is my full potential as a blacksmith. This means even though it might take a while, I can now craft heavy steel Armour and diamond inlaid tools. (Though I'm not sure what use a hobbit would have for these items) Anyway I would just like to thank you all for sticking by me and keeping the requests coming so as I can hone my skills. Thanks again -Aris Snowbird
