A Disgraced Sons Rebirth

[Kickstarted and Running 965]

*Alexander, son of Godfrey, knight, lord, and loyalist of Oren sat in his manor. He had drunken three bottle of wine already, and his choler was up. He stated at his crest of a Griffen on a white field, crushing a black serpent, the harsh shadows of the torch light dancing across his face*

"He never did want me... That's why he won't make me a Horen. While my beloved brother William, and that coward James got everything they wanted, all I wanted was to be Horen, not Jrent."

*He drinks the last of his wine from the bottle, his cup long since shattered agains the wall, ruby wine staining the wood, and trailing down it*

"Bastard keeps me around when he needs something to lash out at, or when there isn't anyone worthwhile. And this while while, I hear of this dark swine of a brother, we have never met and how he gets the throne. And I ever wanted was to be Horen..."

*Shouts as he hurls a freshly uncorked bottle of wine at his crest of arms, it missing at hitting the wall. Alexander lays his head down in his arms, wracking sobs can be heard from him, if there was anyone around*

"He never loved me like the others, that's why he won't make me Horen, instead that reclusive "Black Dragon" gets the damn throne, while we all get left, those who aren't Horen"

*He raised his head up, tears absent from his bloodshot eyes, as he looked at the Griffen on the field of white. He stared at it for a long while, before making his mind up*

"That swine can be the Black Dragon. If he is truly worse than the Lion, then he's going to have a hard time ruling. I'll show them what it means to be a Jrent."

*Alexandrr arose, and let's his booted feet fall as he made his way to his crest of arms. He looked at it again, and caressed the side with his finger, feeling the exotic shapes, and exquisite craftsmanship*

"Let him be the Black Dragon. I'll be the Griffen, and hold up Oren with light. From this day forth, my title is he Griffen"

*Alexander stared at the crest for a while longer, his choler coming back, and his sobriety returning to him. He let the faintest hint of a smile play upon his lips before he cast it away, and started up to his room, where he set about the task of takin off his armor alone, and going into a slumber under his new title.*

The Griffen would be who awoke.
