Han'Shai is a town inhabited by a totally unique and new culture in Asulon, it has an accepted lore thread detailing culture, technology, and even ethnicity unseen in the rest of the world Han'Shai was forged by Madokara from three lesser nations into a single concordate The Honorable Cipang <<inspired by the warrior castes and organizations of Asia, the Cipang are highly given to their codes of behavior and honor>> The Sly Jano << inspired primarily by the Ninja of Japan, they dedicate themselves to their clan and craft>> The Enlightened Ji'Sin <<inspired by monastic life across Asia, particular influences from Shaolin temple in China, the Ji'Sin are all monks and have existed largely in seclusion in their mountain fortress-monasteries>> <<these each have several pages worth of lore associated with them, go check it out if interested>> What type of political system or leadership is within the village? each of the three culture's head sits in council as equal partners to decide over Han'Shai politics, however each of the cultures have a differing method to achieve the status of head of the culture and different inner politics, running their internal affairs semi-autonomously Cipang follow Shogunate governance, power passing from father to son (barring assassination, failing to produce an heir, or another Shogun becoming more powerful) with lesser shoguns and daimyo below him Ji'Sin elect their leader "The Father", known to outsiders as "The Venerable" democratically and can vote him out of office whenever they please, furthermore he exists largely for the council and to organize, with most decisions coming from councils of those concerned Jano are dedicated and loyal beyond reason to their clans, a complex hierarchy lead by a person even they do not know titled the Jonin What sort of behavior will residents exhibit? (Race relations, nation relations, etc.) Roles in society are effectively equivalent to what culture your character becomes a part of, each of the cultures having taken on a particular role and lifestyle in the larger society, it is worthy of note all of the cultures have dedicated themselves to a particular form of protecting their city Cipang- offensive military and smithing, devoted to swords Jano- scouts and woodsman, devoted to special operations Ji'Sin- monks and farmers, devoted to training their bodies as weapons (wrestling) some of the cultures have made themselves enemies with various powers, the Akolo in particular are notorious in eastern coastal towns and settlements these three peoples were brought together by the nigh-legendary Madokara Mieru (who quickly left them afterwards) at the location of Han'Shai and now view it as their destiny to produce an eternal singular culture and spread it throughout Asulon for the greater good of the people, they're not overall given to violence and conquest, however they believe there can be no destiny but their own, thus some like the Cipang won't be entirely swayed by the concept of peace with their neighbors <<this isn't intended to be a "hey, I like your buildstyle and have 100 ____ stat, can I join?" thing, we don't care much what your stats are, only that you're interested and willing to RP a unique and interesting culture with very different cultural views and goals>> Where would you prefer the town’s region be? Including a screenshot of the land would be nice (of game or map). map location: as the player would see it: Any other details (architecture, races, culture, etc): we've been doing extensive development on a buildserver to produce a buildstyle, we've largely moved towards a classic Japanese and Chinese style of building, however we're also considering Thai and Korean styles, other than that it's notable that we plan to construct Han'Shai as a tiered city, with each level providing another layer of defense and increasing density of population (by avoiding sprawling towns) current images for buildstyle: none of them are exceptionally racially exclusive, however they currently do not consist of anything outside of Elf or Human lore-wise and as this is an attempt for give them population prior to entering the worldstage on a larger and more public note, it would be preferred that joining members be one of those note: all of the original population of the four cultures consisted of outcasts, exiles, criminals, wanderers, and refugees lore has been accepted guys, go check it out in the lore section [reminder to self to link later] Players who have agreed to sign this charter (5 name minimum): 1.
