I really don't have much to say about myself. I play a lot of videogames, and I get into it!

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

I ussually play minecraft for at least 3 to 6 hours a day. About 30 hours a week I suppose.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying is acting as if it is actually going on with the character you are trying to be, and responding to your surroundings with that said behavior of the character.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

Honestly not much, but I'm a good actor. I believe it's nothing I couldn't handle.

Meta-gaming is using out of character things in a character's current situation.

To be honest I don't quite know, but I'm guessing it's something that doesn't work with role-playing. As if saying something unreal.

Out of character is saying or doing things that do not follow your role playing. Such as saying dialogue like "Hey dude, come over here!" Or other such things.

I believe this server could be exactly what I need. A new start with minecraft and a community. Let's hope!

I haven't played on many servers to be honest, and the ones I did stay on didn't quite catch my interest.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Mortal was born in the secret city Of Lorien, (The city hidden in the Trees). He is a tall fair wood elf of age 19, in line to become Lorien's new King. His father expects much of him, hoping he'd live up to what his father did in the past. But, because he was forced to become something he didn't get to choose for himself, Mortal turned his ear to talk of ever becoming the King. His heart lied somewhere else, to live the life he could choose for himself. He decided to give the position to his younger brother in his stead. What he did not know, was that his brother had the heart of great evil, and the desire of only power. So, when the time came for his brother to be crowned, he forced Lorien's troops out of the forest to claim more land, believing Lorien should be much more than just a city hidden in the trees.

Mortal did all that he could to stop what his brother was doing! But it was of no use. In no time at all, his brother had sent men after him, believing Mortal would get in the way of his new reign. Mortal was forced to flee the city, never to see his beloved city in the trees again. He hopes of starting over, and when he gains the confidence and strength, becoming the man he was born to be. After what seemed months of traveling, he comes upon your city.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

He is quite swift with an axe, after living all those years in the trees.

Other Information about your Character:

Mortal is very skilled with a bow, as many wood elves from Lorien are. He has a slight dislike for dwarves, but has no problem being in company with them.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Wondering on a path towards the Cloud temple I spot 2 armed men harassing a young halfling. My nerves get the best of me and I quick approach the men, bow drawn with an arrow already steady on the string. "In what way has this halfling caused you grief that you must harass him?" I say calmly, holding my ground with an arrow still held firm in my finger tips. "This halfling has no right to be in this area!" Yelled the larger one, a bulky man with obviously more muscle than brain. "This is our road!" Yelled the other, " We own it, and he has no coin to pay the toll! Hah!" They both snickered, and started once again to fling their fists down upon the halfling. My fingers seemed to loosen in anger, but I still kept the arrow firm upon the string. "I have coin for you, and you can be on your way. How does 20 silver sound?" They stopped, the larger one still holding the halfling to the ground. "Ya' know what sounds betta'? All of your coin. Give it all and we'll let the halfling go with his life!" Upon saying this, swords were drawn. That was it, without realizing it I had let the arrow fly from my finger tips, straight and true into the man's chest. He fell back, dead on the spot. The larger one raised his sword and charged, I quickly reached back for another arrow and placed it upon the bow. But it was too late! The man had swung and missed, but grabbed my arm and brought me to the ground. I struggled to keep him off, then suddenly, the steel of a sword came through his body and had just missed my face. It was the halfling! He had grabbed the other warrior's sword just in time. We both thanked each other. "Now, please be on your way, and try not to cause any trouble!" I laughed. He smiled, and started back on the path the opposite direction. I continued my way to the Cloud Temple.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

I replied in a well suited manner, "Hello my friend! I have no use of your wares, for this I am sorry. Unless you have a map of course! For I am in need of direction." He looked at me firmly, "Ah, yes! A wood elf! Quite far from your tress now aren't you? What business do you have out here, my lad?" I looked down for just a second, reviewing what happened in the past months. " I am very sorry, but my business is my own, can you give me direction to the nearest city?" "Well of course!" he replied. Upon saying this, he gave me a map for 3 bronze coin, pointing me in the direction of the closest settlement and city. I quickly thanked the man, and continued on my way.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

I am marveled at the sword, for in the forest we have but wood and stone. As I am about to approach the door, I ponder about someone catching me. I then think about my moral standards and who I am. Does a prince of the forest really steal from a lonesome hut? I shake my head, but in vain. "I am in no use of a sword such as this, let me leave it for those who need it. I am no thief..." I whisper to myself. I take one last look at the sword and the iron bars, but force myself to think of my journey ahead to the town. I find myself back on the path, leaving the abandoned hut for someone else to plunder.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Weary from travel, I stumble upon the camp. Hardly being able to speak, from running out of water, I spit out what words I could to the men. "F-food....water?" They look at me wearyingly, knowing I am in dire need of help. They quickly run to the merchant nearest by, and brought him my way. He gladly accepted my needs by drawing water from a well nearby. By this time, I lied on the ground, trying to regain my strength from travel. He came up to me, holding my head up straight, gently pouring the water down my throat. After I few gulps, I coughed here and there, from not drinking anything in so long. He then pulled out a loaf of bread, tearing a small piece off and placed it on my tongue. I savored the taste. It was as if I had never tasted food in my life! When my voice came to me, I thanked the man. " I don't know how to repay you! In what way may I be of service?" I said. "Hah! It is my pleasure young wood elf. It is not very often we see your kind around here, I am honored to help." With this he helped me up, and offered his own hut to me for a couple days to regain what strength I had lost. He filled my bags with bread and filled my containers with water for my journey. I never knew the man's name, but after that my trust and faith for the race of men had increased. After 2 days, I walked back to the path I traveled upon, and pulled my map back out, continuing my way toward the soon to be found city.

I found this application to be very entertaining, and I look forward to joining all of you soon if they find my application worthy. Thank you.
