MC name:541

Strengths: I'm personally better at events that require a strategy, not so much the pvp, and i'm also not a shoe in for pixel art

Weaknesses(if any): My weaknesses would probably be the team events for the most part, except for a special few.

Have you read the rules listed in the Olympiad Rules? And do you agree to abide by them?

Yes I have

Other notes:

let's put LoTC on the map for the most Gold medals in the first Minecraft Olympiad!

Goldrim for MC Olympics 2012.

Edit:

Also, for the people that are volunteering with strengths as building/pixel art, can we see examples? This way we know what we're voting for!

MC name:

Lib216

Strengths:

Parkour, Archery, Survivalism, Wall Dash, kinesthesia (senses, pretty much anything that involved platforming. Based on Minecraft mechanics and the level of PC I currently own I believe I would also do well in PVP. As a recap my strongest aspect is to move fluidly and efficiently.

Weaknesses(if any):

I'm not one for pixel art and while I do consider myself a good builder, but for this contest I know there would be many who are better.

Have you read the rules listed in the Olympiad Rules? And do you agree to abide by them?

Yes absolutely.

Other notes:

I'm a Traceur in real life (one who practices Parkour) and have been for the past 5 years. Those who have practiced parkour as well know that causes you to view "everything" differently and with a different mindset. What I'm talking about is efficiency throughout your enviroment and not just in the "physical" world, even while playing a game (such as a platforming game) a traceur would be able to notice the quickest and most efficient route through a course (point A to point B).

On a previous PVP server I played on I decided I wanted to find a way how to improve my archery skills, so I spent all of my time secluded in my own little corner of the world learning exactly how minecraft archery mechanics work, such as arrow drop and what not. I eventually came up with a system based on blocks that would let me aim extremely precisely even at moving targets.

I wont go into specifics but I built my computer from the ground up as a gaming computer and as such it would be able to keep up with the high demands and keep the FPS at a high and consistent rate.

That is all will update later.

MC name: Wodehouse

Strengths: Events-Wise, my talents primarily lie in the following; Griefing, Jumping, Cross country, Archery, Survival.

However, I also have a very powerful computer, and a solid ISP to match, which ought to give me at least a slight edge over a competitor lacking in those areas.

Weaknesses(if any): 1 on 1 PvP, Graphics, Redstone, Speed-building are all my primary weaknesses, though to a degree I'm pretty much able to do these, with the exception of graphics. I couldn't make a skin to save my life.

Have you read the rules listed in the Olympiad Rules? And do you agree to abide by them?: I plan on following them to the letter, to represent Lord of the Craft as best as I can.

Other notes:

Cyndikate: "Wode! Wode! Why is she running, Jex? She didn't do anything wrong..."

Jexdane: "Because she's the hero that Lord of the Craft deserves, and definitely the one it needs right now...and so we'll choose her, because she can take it. Because he's not a hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector...a Dark Brother. "

You see this cat? This cat is a metaphor. It represents everybody who isn't me.

Edit: For the certain somebody who has been slandering my cat GIF, I hope this is more to your liking.

science-gives-dog-gets-new-head1.gif

This right here is another metaphor, demonstrating the confused and helpless behaviour of people who aren't me.
