In-Character Details

Character Name: Finrod Noltari

Character Race: Elf

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

Finrod was born in a town that was constantly being terrorized by a dragon, who killed anyone in its path and took all the food. At a young age, he said plenty of stuff that could have killed him, but his mother taught him to be quiet. From then he put on a mask of emotionless feeling. Then,one day, his mother was attacked and killed. By then, at age 13, he had been working with his father at the blacksmith and was as strong and healthy as an ox. When he heard the news, he quickly came to his mother. But, it was too late. He vowed that he would kill whoever did this.

The next day, a stranger came by looking for an apprentice in the art of the bow. Finrod immediately wante to come, but feared his elf ears would scare him off. He then covered himself in a cowl and strode up to the man "I wish to be your apprentice," he said. "Well, take of your cowl and lets see what you look like." "You take of your cowl first," Finrod said. He did and was surprised to see that the stranger was an elf as well. He took of his cowl and the stranger knew him immediately. "Why, your my brother son! I'm your uncle, Faeranduil. I haven't seen you since you was a baby. How do you do?" "My mother is dead," said Finrod. With pity and admiration, he took Finrod under his wing. Four years later, he has no memory except that he was destined to save the world from an unspeakable evil.

The beginning of his true life... Has begun.

What are your characters ambitions?: He wishes to rid the world of evil and bring peace to the land.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: Nothing much except that he is ready for anything. He expects the unexpected.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

I would buy something from him and give him more money than he asks for. He would take it and say thanks, and I would go on my way, telling people to go to the same shop because there is really good stuff in there.

You’re in the Cloud Sanctuary late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. The only present monk is fast asleep, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

I would step in and say, "Whoa, take it easy! Orc, step away from the dwarf or I swear I will make you a pincushion with my arrows!" The orc would be stubborn and unfortunately, I would have to kill the orc to stop him from hurting the dwarf. "I know dwarves are tough people, but, you were getting pretty handled." He would argue and I would tell him to be on his way back to where ever he was going to.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:

I would protect him and help him pick up his stuff because as all people know, elves are friendly as long as your nice. He would offer a reward but I would say, "No need. I will make by. I do not need anything. Keep it. You will need it more than I." Then, I would buy him a new walking stick to help him on his merry way back home.

This is not a RPG server, it is a role-play server.

This definition could use some touching up. It is a bit off.

Using an NPC's script is not meta-gaming, as it is what they said IC.

In your biography, please include actual In-Game locations instead of 'some town'. Try living in the actual elven capital, just not some random un-existing town.

You can not have dragons in your biography.

Why was your mother attacked? Surly she wouldn't be attacked for no reason. Please explain in your next application.

There is no 'evil' in Asulon. Also, don't come here to be the hero of the day who saves the world from zombies. Try being a simple person who isn't here to have glory, fame, and money.

Your ORQ's need detailed actions. Don't just say 'I first walk up to him and say hi' and things along the lines of that. Explain in detail what you do. Take this for example, Skippy slowly sneaks up to the man.... Also, remember you need to use dialog. Use "" to speak to said characters in the ORQ.
