It's also powergaming to say "you see", when my character may not ever see the note, or might not pay attention to it if they ever did see it.

((But what if my character wouldn't travel where the note was posted? Without them saying, there's no way to say. Me looking at a forum post does not magically mean my character saw it. That would be metagaming.

While that quote is still, in a strict sense, powergaming, the Sanctuary is an area everyone is very likely to see (since the monks resurrect characters when they fall). For that reason it is very likely your character would see it.

What you suggested is still determining my character's actions for me. What should be said is that your character posts the note, the locations that it's posted at, and the contents of the note, like this example.
