It has taken me a long time to come by this journal, my Father was always hiding things from me.

In this journal is the reason my Father left, the reason I may never see him again. My Father, Geran D'aerthe, had a friend my years ago named Daermond Silverhand. Daermond was always looking for a way to revive his mother and father, going to every mage he could find in every city he traveled to. He came to learn that no regular mage would do, he began hunting for Necromancers and the like. Here is his final journal entry.

Irba 20th year 51

I think I found the right one, my search may finally be over! I hear this man, Cataris, is a powerful necormancer surly he can raise my family. I am taking the usual precautions of course, I should be able to get away if he decides to attack. Soon, I will see my family again!

Daermond Silverhand was killed by Cataris in Irba 20th year 51, it has taken a long time, but I finally managed to write this down.
