In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: Roleplaying is a way of people to immerse themselves in a world they always wanted by acting and doing actions that is a part of the world they are in.

In-Character Details

Character Name: Vance Fortimir

Character Race: Human

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Vance Fortimir is a young happy human with a wealth family. His father was a merchant and his mother was a house wife. His father traveled most of the time and he doesn't get to see him often. But when they do have time, his father would teach him about sword-fighting and would explain to him about magics. Vance questioned why his father taught him this because he was safe in Oren and wouldn't need these skills. Vance' father always said he was ignorant and wasn't thinking about the future.

When Vance was about 25 years of age, he already moved out from his parents house and was living with his fiancé, River Asuna. His daily job was a baker in a nearby bakery. He dearly loved his fiancé was the only person that was dear to his heart. But one day, River was ill. She was coughing up blood and had terrible migraines. Everyday the sickness would get worse as Vance sanity would start to let go of reality. Day by day he worried and thought about why she was sick. Then the day had come. River Asuna died due to the amount of blood loss she had. Vance' heart felt like its was stabbed with a dagger and he lost all hope. For months he would be in silence. Friends and family tried to help him but nothing had was effective. After six months has past Vance came to his father and asked him for a map and he left the city in wonder and depression.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

Vance wanders around the shops looking for a filling snack, and he found this small shop owned by a dwarf. The heat of the sun was makig Vance more and more hungry and thirsty and then he found a lonely dwarf shop keeper. This is the first time for Vance to meet the beings that his father told him about. He came up to the shop keeper and asked what kind of foodstuffs that would last him for a while. The dwarf said with a wheezy voice "why, yes I do, I have some bread and sausage available to buy." "Alright, so how much are they selling for?" "It is 100 Minas per loaf of bread and 70 Minas for a piece of sausage." Vance was surprised that its was that expensive to have food in a large city like Arethor."Why is it so expense to buy a small snack like that sir?" The dwarf explained that he was a miner and he wasn't mining enough ores and minerals to pay the fees for himself and his home. So they fired him for his only job and had to move because he couldn't afford to live there anymore. In sympathy, Vance helped the dwarf by baking him better food for its worth,in exchange for some of the food that he was selling.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

As Vance was walking by a night, he heard a faint shout off in the distance. Vance thought its was just some kids playing at night and just ignored it. But than the shouting got louder and louder and than off the the right he noticed that the shout came from a dwarf that was about to get pummelled by a large Orc. Vance started running to the dwarf with his sword drawn and trying to the attention of the Orc. He finally arrived and dwarf was begging for mercy and his life. Vance shouted "Stop! Don't hurt him!" The Orc dropped the dwarf from his shirt and the Orc turn to face Vance and said in a demon deep voice "Who are you? Are you asking for me to kill you too? If not leave me to my business." "No, why are you going to kill him?!" The dwarf said that he didn't do anything. The Orc shouted "LIAR! You were required to pay the fee to the Orc Guild near by." Vance said, "So what your saying is that he didn't pay you money than your just going to kill him?! You disgust me. I'll pay it for him. How much?" "1200 Minas." "Here, now stop harassing this poor dwarf." The Orc left with a grumpy look on his face. The dwarf said "Thank you, thank you very much! I don't know how could I have gotten out of that situation if it wasn't for you. Thank you!" Vance look down toward the dwarf and stared at him with an annoyed look on his face. "Weren't you the shop keeper back in Arether and I baked you those goods?" "Oh great lord, its you! I completely forgot about how your looked." With a blank face Vance said "Am I becoming your mortal guardian? Because if I am, I am starting to hate this job. Well, Im off." The dwarf replied "Well are you wondering why I am here?" "Nope... not at the very least." As Vance wandered of the dwarf had a larger smile on his face with joy and wonder.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:

Vance was looking at his map and seem to be lost. He saw an old man nearby and he approaches him to ask for directions. But then the cane that the old man was standing with snapped into two and then he fell over. His weak, fragile body prevented him for getting up. He had no energy to get back up with out help. Vance came to help and noticed that he was carry a small cloth bag filled with Minas. The coins seem like they were newly forged and they were gleaming in the sunlight on the dusty road. Vance came to help the old get back on his feet. Vance gave a sword as a temporary cane for the old man. The Old man said "Thank young swordsman, most travelers would leave me in the dust while they stole the coins I dropped." "Your very welcome sir. Why were you carrying that amount of money with you without any protection?" The old man replied "This is my grandson's money, I told him that my time on this earth is soon ending so I decided that I should give him his inheritance. I live nearby I thought it would be a quick stroll from my house but its ended up being a extremely difficult task."

Vance said "Well, may I escort you to your grandson's house?" As Vance arrived to his destination, he took back his sword and said his good byes.
