VonAulus 2082 Share Posted December 30, 2012 Hello folks, as the title suggest, this is addressed to new orcish players. Since there is a civil war going on, I have a feeling players will want to join the orcs to participate in some kind hearted PVP and war roleplay. I have nothing against members of the community coming and sharing in the fun with your slightly greener members of this fine community. Though, there may be a few things we need to address. How did your character suddenly show up? I know, with this war abrewing, you want to jump in and pen some noobs as a big bad Orc. But let us not forget, your character has to be on a side, which means they may have to be apart of a clan. We are not exactly having a clan wars, but if you want to join the rebels, I suggest either joining the Ugluks, Lurs, or Bradduks. All these clans would be glad to have you if you talk to one of their leaders about creating a character. They can fit you in somewhere in the family tree or simply adopt you. If you want to stay loyal to the Rex, I would suggest joining the Gorkils or Doms. People you can talk to: Ugluks: Pok (sparten4ever92) Lurs: Moksha (uooo8)I don't think that mc name is right. Bradduks: Mokrag (higgsyy) Gorkil: Sharku(jenspelao) Mogroka(Sultan_Mogroka) Dom: Bog(Bloodlest) You could also be a clanless Orc, deciding which side he wants to fight on. Most of the orcs do not want to have "1 day orcs". These are players who just want to get on and fight, creating a character 10 minutes before the battle. So I would suffer creating your character as soon as possible so you can get roleplaying and interacting with your fellow Orcs. Also, read some lore. If you wan to participate, you need to understand some of the complexities of orcish society and honor. This is encouraged, though not required. What is that terrible skin? Put some thought into your character! Since you may end up staying after the war is over. I sure hope you do! Playing an Orc is fun. There are many able skin makers in this community, get a cool custom one before charging into battle. Give him/her an orcish name as well. Has his second pair of tusks grown in? Does he paint his hair red? You need to think about these things. I personally do not want to see all the dwarves creating characters for one side then all of the humans jumping on the other. I am not pointing fingers, just giving an example of what could happen. Unless you are serious about playing an Orc do not create an Orc now. It is a great time to join us, but do not abuse it to ruin other's fun. Thanks.
Cyndikate 2303 Share Posted December 30, 2012 I'm the daughter of Moksha'lur, so I can't consider Shorat to be a day old orc, since she was born in 2.0. I'll see if I can play on my orc this week. Wait, aren't the Doms considered whitewash?

_pok_ 1768 Share Posted December 30, 2012 Another thing to make clear, if you want to be apart of this and are not a new member, you should be intending to be VERY active on your Orc for at least three months after the conflict and prove that you are going to be active. If you are a new member, talk to either myself [sparten4ever92], Zogtar [Zogtar_Lur], Grool [VonAulus]. Shar'ku [jenspelao], or Moksha [u000893].
