We are those of Asulon who instead of spending vast amounts of time figuring about how to best poke someone with a stick; Work for the betterment and increased knowledge of the races. We work with the sciences of Alchemy, our group has been around for a good many years, since the start of the undead, in that time, we've only accepted five new members, our recruiting process is intentionally made to be near impossible to join; But as of recent years, we require new recruits... All five, but two. Are perished.. We begin to open the world to our ranks, and begin this endeavor.. In short, if you can't read, we expand upon sciences involving alchemy, as well as other things pertaining to it, including herbalism, and the charting of stars.

The origin of our order dates back to early of the undead wars, our leader, and foremost authority upon Alchemy. It started with his apprentice, a young lad whom he had known for near a century; The elf had learned all there was to know of Alchemy, at least at that point.. This apprentice had taken it upon himself to speak to his master, to ask him of a possibility of more apprentices, being they both thought their knowledge was important enough to share; The apprentice had to nudge the leader a bit, but as time went on, he begun searching, this is all that is recorded from this time, being it was near two centuries ago.. It is believed this or, presumed. That the leader of this group began to find his new apprentices, the origin is of little note, rather, what it did after was;

It was the first group to make a potent solution in tea of willow's bark, aiding massively in sickness. It reduced fever, and was believe to aid in regenerating lost energy, [OOC: though obviously the people will never understand WHY it does that, being it is far too complex]. Along with this, they began work with poison, as well, mushrooms and which are deadly, etcedera'. Selling them upon brokers as a suicidal way out, as well as a poison, when ground; This is a small tidbit of their achievements, though many, many more go unaccredited to them.

The duty of the order of Alchamie is simple, to aid Asulon and continue the betterment of knowledge, and the betterment of all mankind: Our case is rather to instruct the world in taking care of itself, being the order will not be around to innovate for the rest of time. This makes recruitment rare, and many graduates do not leave the order, though we send some off.. To continue on this, we are of teachers of arts not akin to magic, rather, of more logic.

Our recruitment process is rigorous it involves multiple stages of trials. Firstly, the leader of our order must be alerted of you, once done, he will begin backtracking who you are, finding records, documents, getting testimonies to assure you would be an adequate fit into the order, and if you have the aptitude for your task, if you do. You are accepted into the order as a trial member, for the next year we will watch you, trials will be set, of mental discipline, and personality.. Once this is done, you are accepted into the world as a full member ((OOC Week trial period, with a restrained membership afterwards)). Though this is just a fraction of it, to get our attention, find one of us, or send us a letter, posting below this note. We will investigate you thereafter.

Is this going to be using the accepted alchemy lore or is it going off of a different system completely? I ask this out of curiosity for how the guild will work, not in an attempt to get you pinned for breaking lore. :D []
