Tychar Silverblade was born in the old city of Arethor, in Asulon. He lived most of his life not knowing of his heritage, growing up with his mother and not finding out about his father until later. Half-Northerner, Half-Elven (although he resembles most a Northerner), Tychar is a highly ambitious man. He is very loyal and protective of family, and is smart, usually preferring to use his brain instead of a sword. He seems to lack a sense of humor, and is willing to go to great lengths to ensure his family's survival, even if it means going behind the scenes and/or committing amoral actions. He is 6'1", with dark brown hair and a trimmed, but present beard.

Why do you think this app should be accepted:

 

I think that this app should be accepted because I am prepared to devote time into this character. Although I haven't roleplayed much recently on this server, I do have a lot of experience both from this server and others. I like to think of myself as mature OOC, and I'm a pretty calm individual so if someone doesn't go my way, I won't rage.

 

I've also been looking for a "group" of sorts to RP with, since roleplay on this map is a little spread out, so hopefully I'll have a lot of good roleplay with House Silverblade as well!

Date of acceptance to the server: The twenty fifth of march, two thousand  thirteen. I know it is a very short while ago, but I am entirely comfortable and able to role-play decently, due to my years of experience in role-playing on other games.

Role Play Name: Aphasto Silverblade

 

Age: Twenty eight years of age.

 

Status in family (Cousin/Sister/Brother/Son/Daughter)and to whom: A brother to Bronn and Emily, child to Cwenhild and Uthor, but I am willing to take any other status, if necessary.

 

Short biography of the character you wish to play:

 

It was a snow blanketed land, and a frost cold morning, when a baby of higher status than any commoner was born. His mother Cwenhild held him in her arms as she gazed upon his icy blue eyes, a true Silverblade had been born. A child of mixed Elven and Human blood, along with brown hair to complement his frost eyes. His father Uthor had been away, but as soon as he heard of the birth, he rushed to meet his child. After this, the parents decided on a name. Something that would subtly describe the piercing icicles  in his eyes. So they named him Aphasto, for the name was as silent as a winter breeze, and as cold sounding as the blizzards of the ancient north wastelands.

 

Years later, when Aphasto was but a child, his father continuously nagged him to start training with a wooden sword. Yet the Silverblade boy found more interest in the storybooks his mother read to him. The ones where cunning and thought was the best weapon, not  crude sword. Frustrated with the boy's unwillingness to learn the art of the sword, Uthor demanded that he learn, which Aphasto had to comply to. After many days of reluctantly attending fighting lessons, Aphasto knew with his heart that this was not what he wanted to do.  He was patient, cool-minded, and wasn't upset easily,  but fighting was not something he wanted to do for the rest of his life. 

 

So it tooks some time, but Aphasto finally decided that only a compromise would favor both the interests of his father and some of his. The boy offered to study military strategy, under the condition that his father would not force him to attend sword-fighting lessons. Uthor reluctantly accepted this offer, only swayed by the child's early maturity and lack of complete stubbornness. 

 

Many years passed since that time, and now both of Aphasto's parents are dead. He had been exploring Anthos for his own personal reasons, and now returns to Oren to settle down. At this point, as you can imagine, Aphasto has been taught in many subjects, other than military strategy. He mainly excels at philosophy, economy and some diplomacy as of the moment, but plans to continue learning, and maybe one day be a successful and respected scholar or diplomat.

Why should do you think this app should be accepted: Well, I think this application should be accepted, because I take roles seriously, and I do not plan on playing the average "GET AWAY FROM ME PEASANT!" kind of noble, but rather someone who works very hard, follows the laws, and is a strict believer of the true faith.

This is a very important character to me and whoever wants to play him needs to be an A+ rper and really have the time to roleplay him out. I think he would be a very fun character and will need a va at one point.

The Story of Audric Silverblade

 

 

Audric of House Silverblade was born during a time of great strife and confusion. His early years as an Elf amongst the Human masses of Oren left him distanced from much of civilised society. When he was young, the House divided, many of his kin travelling north to investigate the myserious sightings of the undead, while his father Richar, head of House Silverblade, assumed the duty of defending Oren from the Orc hordes to the south. Here, amongst the bustling streets of Al'Khazar, Audric lived much of his early life.

 

As a child, Audric was quick to anger, though remained fairly considerate of those around him. He learnt from a young age the importance of conforming to their religious principles and would act unquestionably in service of Oren's Church. Through these years, he was instilled with a sense of unwavering duty in the name of Oren's God and all of his teachings. Although he was the eldest of Richar's sons, he was different to his brothers, having been born with a rare disorder, causing his hair to grow as white as the snows of the Deep Cold. 

 

 

This did not hold him back from proving himself to his father, however. As a Silverblade, it was his House's duty to serve Oren and its King and he would do so with an undying loyalty, through to death and beyond. His father, a militaristic man had each of his sons perform years of arduous training, in preparation for the day that Oren would come under attack. As Audric matured and grew older, he soon met an elf by the name of Tyra and though never having children, they grew to love one another. With the blessing of his father, they married and for years, the two lived in the city of Al'Khazar in relative peace. 

 

As years passed however, and Audric continued his training, the dangers of the south loomed forth and the time came for Audric and his brothers to prove themselves in battle. As the orcs ravaged the surrounding lands beyond Oren's capital, Audric and his younger brother Gideon, stood at the forefront of the battle lines. Here, they gained a great deal of respect for one another, fighting side by side as the orcs crashed down upon the gates, pouring into the city. 

 

 

Though they were victorious in battle, it was not without great losses and damage to the heart of Oren's infrastructure. Much of the guard had either been killed or wounded, leaving society in disarray and confusion. Criminals quickly took advantage of the situation and anarchy spread across the Kingdom. As Audric returned home from battle, he found only death in his wake. His wife was found raped and murdered, while many of his possessions had been stolen. Not long after, news came to his ears that his father too, had lost his life after an assassination attempt.

 

With a grim realisation of the events that had transpired, Audric bid farewell to his brothers as Gideon assumed the reigns of leading House Silverblade. With only vengeance in his mind and a deep regret that he would likely never find his wife's killers, he set out with a group of Knights, under the command of his uncle, Francis Silverblade. As they marched towards the southern deserts, here, they would begin a new campaign against the Orcs. 

 

 

From that day on, Audric left behind the city of Al'Khazar and alongside his uncle, they fought in the scorching hot deserts of Krugmar. As years passed, his emotions were left scarred and his body beaten. Though he cared not for rank or privilege and only wished to serve his father proud, he yearned for something more. He prayed that he would live up to his family's legacy, though he could not rid himself of the thoughts that he had failed them. During this time, Audric lost contact with much of his past life. While the war with the orcs ended, a new threat emerged and with it, soon came the fall of his homeland to the undead. For years, he served at the front lines of Oren's wars, with little regard for the deaths he caused or the families he would destroy. From the founding of the the Holy Empire of Oren to the present day, he had never felt truly in control of his life. 

 

With his return to Oren, he hoped only that he could restore his name and live proudly under the Silverblade banner. His House, had by now, risen to great prosperity amongst the nobility of the Empire. He viewed this return as a new opportunity. As an Elf, he had not aged as the Humans had and like his brothers, bore the same sharp features as he did in his younger years. With every drop of his blood, he would serve the Holy Oren Empire and begin life anew as he would have wished for from the beginning.
