History
 

Yautja, born back in the land of Aegis in the days before the minions of Iblees flooded into the land and began to set the settlements ablaze. Yautja was a half-breed born by an orc and elf, effectively aquiring both the blessings and curses of the two descendent races. Yautja was also born with a defect; non-functioning vocal cords. This birth defect effectively made Yautja a mute, only capable of sounds a beast would make. Concious of this, Yautja mostly confines himself to silence, not having a reason for the sounds of an animal. Yautja grew learning to understand common tongue, and could not grasp the orcish tongue. Soon the minions of Iblees flooded the land and began destroying settlements all around Yautja in a fierce battle with the inhabitants on Aegis and the ascended. One day both his parents disappeared and he suddenly obtained his maturity from the fact. Knowing that his parents are likely deceased hardened him, making him constantly serious despite the possibility of their survival. Being so young and alone, Yautja was forced to be in hiding during his youth most of the time. The people of Aegis fled through the Verge and into the land of Asulon, leaving both the ascended and undead in memory. The Verge had an affect on Yautja's mental state; and his memory began to deteriorate. Yautja separated from the other survivors of Aegis and went to be alone in the forests of Asulon. He lived in the forest many years, and obtained his first combat experience by learning to hunt. The longer he was alone, along with his deteriorating memory and curse causing a wish for blood spills, caused his attitude to become aggressive. Eventually Yautja managed to wonder his way to the Cloud Temple, almost by instinct. The effect of the Verge had wiped his mind of all memory, leaving only instinct, including his hunting instinct. The cause of memory loss over his travel to the Temple left him with low skills in his hunting ability despite the instinct. With his mind fully erased, the effect of the Verge lifted, leaving Yautja capable of remembering again, but he will need to overcome the stuggle of learning everything again. Yautja made it to the temple, losing many of his possessions, having only his crude stone armor plating. The plating covers his shoulders, feet, hands and waist. The plating is held together by tough, reinforced snake skin.
