Snake Plissken 637 Author Share Posted March 2, 2013 Aren slowly approaches the barracks, seeing as having little choice other than this. His robe flutters on the wind as his hand lays three, short knocks on barrack's door, answering as soon as what appears to be a footman opens the viewing slit. "Another one of you? What is it?" Unmoved by his response bearded man simply responds. "I assume that I can't speak to your Lord Commander?" He's met with a briskly, sour response, clearly the guard doesn't seem happy about the request "Again? Like hell you coud." Aren coughs, adjusting his satchel before speaking out in calm tone. "If you may relay a message that Aren Whitestorm, brother and comrade to....Count Hawk Whitestorm wishes to speak to him regarding reinstatement into Knight ranks." He's only met with murmuring and surprised quiet curses, seems like he isn't the first Whitestorm to visit the place recently. ((It's a coincidence that two Whitestorms apply in such short span of time.)) One of the six men guarding the Imperial Keep disappears inside for a few moments before returning and beckoning the other men to stand aside. The guard leads Aren into the keep's main corridor and then into a room on the right hand side. After climbing a ladder, the guard and Aren emerge in a large cavernous space on the second floor of the building. A man in Dragon Guard uniform and a dwarf scurry around the room trying to turn the space into a barracks as the Lord Commander stands in the center, shouting orders and frequently changing his mind on where he wants things to go. "I don't believe we have met before, lord commander. I'm Aren Whitestorm, and I have previously served within Order of the Red Dragon, but due to... Unforeseen circumstances, I had to lay down my sword." The armed man listens to Aren's words as he carries on. "I seeked reinstatement into ranks of Knights, in particular ones that protect royal family directly. What is your mind on such request, lord commander?" As you've served as a Knight before, Im sure I'll have no problem getting you reinstated. "Why do we need a cook, engineer, messenger or drill master,...? "You might be interested to know that I have a certain degree of medical skills that one might find useful...I'm no mage, but at least I can save soldiers from bleeding out to death or infections." He and his friend Kaden would often go outside to explore, and often watched humans practice clashing swords from a distance. In awe, the two would practice sword fighting together. Their village often teach about honor, respect, and truthfulness. Once the two friends grew up to be men, they instantly set their eyes upon becoming something more. Criminal history: None Short biography: Kaden grew up in a small village when he was young. Growing up he became best friend with another child around his age named Dakota. He and his friend loved to explore the area around them. They one day found two men training with swords swinging them at each other, they became instantly amused. Since then they would go to a spot to watch other humans practice their swordmanship. After growing up to become mature young adults, the two decided to try and become like those men they once saw.
