Yes, in cohesion with the above question.

Tell us one unique fact about Kharajyr lore, culture or history that you know.(We will check for plagiarism!):

The Kharajyr love music, it is part of their culture on quite a large scale. Flutes, wind chimes and poems are among the tools used to portray their music.

IC Information

RP Name (This includes your character’s prefix): Sa'Quorak

Character Sub-race: Kha'Tigrasi

Character appearance (Including age and gender):

Sa'Quorak is a very agile, and aggressive Kharajyr. His life has let him to look rough, and act rough. He is male, and of the towering age of 89, which draws ever closer to Elderhood. Though this only deters him a little, he is in absolute envy of those older than him.

His fur is thick, and wavy. More yellow than orange, with black stripes and white patches.

What is the personality of your character like?:

Sa'Quorak is quick to judge Apes, like most / all Kha. His accent is non-existent as he is a mute (explained later). He communicates with a very primitive technique of palm acceptance, nodding and shaking of the head, and small grunts or groans that he can only just utter.

Sa'Quorak is a traditionalist, like many of the Elder Kha. He is bent on Metztli's will, but is generally accepting of those who do not fully follow his own faith. This, however contradicts his prideful devotion to Metztli's will. He is extremely territorial, more than most Kha. He will protect a specific spot in the Jungle, and claim it for his own. Only allowing some Kha in (Like his Elders, the Tla. etc.). This area would only be small. If only a meter long.

Although he is quick to judge, his inability to communicate verbally is frustrating. He secludes himself from non-vital communication. Usually just 'turning up' for things, and helping in situations regarding Metztli's rituals.

He worships and trusts the Tla's way. He knows that wherever the Tla goes, he must go. And this makes him loyal to no boundary (except Villain boundaries... ).

Brief Biography of this character’s life thus far (taking into account the rules against creating a character born outside of the empire):

Born in Asulon, in the Karakatuan Empire of the Kharajyr, Sa'Quorak was born to a healthy and loving Mother and Father. He was cared for, nurtured. And loved. Maybe too much, though, as during his trials he talked far too much. And for a Tigrasi, he acted far too much like a Pantera. So the Do's of the trials muted him, to benefit him in the future. This was done with agreement of his parents, surprisingly. They disapproved of his behavior, too. This led him to succeed in his trials. The Do's were pleased with his progress in melee, and were surprised to recognize his new ways of communication. Through palm acceptance.

If Sa'Quorak was to ask permission for something, he'd open out his palm, in an 'asking' way, from which another Kha could say yes, but brushing against his palm. Or no, by shoving the palm away. Most Kha recognized this upon first meetings with Sa'Quorak, and accepted it as an initiative to do good, regardless of his disabilities.

Sa'Quorak reached adulthood, by passing his trials. He then grew very large. As far as Tigrasi go, he was quite a large one. He was very strong, agile, and defensive. Territorial and extremely picky with what animals he hunts. He was taught this way during the learning stages of his trials - to obey the norms of Karakatuan society.

Asulon to Elysium he went, he followed the Tla wherever he lead, as did the rest of the Kha. But it wasn't until Kalos that his story really takes hold. For so long he lived in peace. Or what a Kha would call peace. And now he wishes to change this, to defend the borders of the Kharajyr loyally.

Character’s ambitions within the Kharajyr:

To reach Elderhood, and maintain his place among the Kha. He wishes to craft weapons for them, and make music to resemble Metztli's wishes, told to him by the Ja.

Character’s strengths/weaknesses:

He is older now, he will be slower.

He is a Tigrasi, he may be strong, but he is slow. (with old age, even slower than slower)

He is wise, but bluntly against other faiths than the Kha's.

He has trained for a long time specifically with his trident.

He can throw the trident. But his skills with a bow are awful (see history).

Please provide a screenshot or 3D render of your character’s skin:

Much sexier with MPM, which I've configured to represent his size, and his Kha-like features.

Situational Roleplay Questions

1. You are heading home from a successful hunting trip when a group of three heavily armoured humans jump out from behind a tree and start demanding the surrender of your catch over to them. Each man has a sword drawn and they are gradually pacing towards you...

How does your character react?

Feeling absolutely threatened, Sa'Quorak drops his catch behind him, unsheathing from his back a mighty golden Trident, decorated blissfully. He speaks no word, and suggests no threat other than the pointing of his trident at the Humans. Fearless. Ready to protect the catch he has caught for his people. But more than anything, willing to die for Metztli. But, is it a worthy death? Sa'Quorak wouldn't question it that deeply, and takes the risk of combat.

The armoured Humans begin their assault, their paces quicken and Sa'Quorak has little time to react. Suddenly, his trident is flung into the first Human, right between the helmet and the chestpiece. Killing him instantly. From it's neck, Sa'Quorak swings the trident into the second Human, slashing at his armour, failing to penetrate, and only sliding across it with the tips of the trident. Out of nowhere, the third Humans comes flailing wildly at Sa'Quorak, who has now dropped his trident and aims with his claws for the Human's face, whilst the second Human recovers.

Eventually, Sa'Quorak acquires himself more catch than he left out for.

[i must say, however, this would easily have turned against my favor. And I would let it do such in RP if it came to it.]

2. You arrive at the temple of Metztli only to see one of your closest friends stealing the sacred blue gems from the altar, a most unholy act for a Kharajyr.

How does your character react?

Sa'Quorak gazes from afar, from the bottom of the steps. He meets eye contact with his friend, from which he just shakes his head. He wouldn't dare to interrupt the act in case of being caught and framed for aiding him. So he goes right, and heads for a local Do'Kharajyr. He uses his hands to motion the Do' to follow, and alerts him of the Kha's theft.

Sa'Quorak would then watch as his closest friend is sacrificed to Metztli. It would pain him to see it, but the hurt was seeing him steal, not seeing him die. For now he lies in Metztli's skies.

3. You are in the Cloud Temple when a stout, angry little dwarf begins yelling highly racist terms towards you at the top of his lungs. Although unarmed, the dwarf continues to yell after he makes eye contact with you.

How does your character react?

Sa'Quorak is extremely irritated instantly by the Dwarf, but knows that if he dares attack - he would risk the status of the Empire, and would waste himself on the petty insults. Also, he wouldn't be allowed to attack, under the Monk's rulings of villainous activities (although provoked).

Sa'Quorak would merely be able to taunt the Dwarf from afar, signifying a 'slit neck' motion with his claws.

4. Fire has broken out over the jungle city and you can hear the screaming of two Kha’ nearby. As you go investigate, you notice that one of your friends and the Tlatlanni’s white-furred child have gotten themselves trapped in opposite ends of a burning building. The roof creaks above you, if you were to get involved, you would only have time to save one before the building collapsed.

How does your character react?

Sa'Quorak makes a sudden decision, one that is likely the wrong one, but either way each has it's benefits. He paces into the burning building, as suddenly a pillar collapses down upon the exit. There is, however a way out in his friend's room. But the Tla's child is of far higher value than his friend, for it could one day be the future Tla. Sa'Quorak makes for the room of the Tla's child, rescuing it safely.

The repercussions for this benefit him, and knowing his friend is now in a better place settles him mentally.
