The Founding of the Order

 

The Order of Velulaei was founded by Xexus Nightheart on the Isles of Kalos and Elysium. This devout Mali'ker wanted to revive the worship of Velulaei, the forgotten Mali'ker religion. He spent years dreaming of a grand temple, like the one he was born in, with many Mali'ker worshiping the great moon goddess. One night while sleeping in his private island estate, Xexus was enveloped by the darkness of night from within. A strong desire grew, almost unquenchable, to relaunch the religion of Velulaei and to present her true majesty. He set off immediately, sending a bird to the two people that could support him, Prince Khel Oussana and Aenar Goroth Klaren. They met at the abandoned Elven city in Elysium. There they spoke and the two gave him their support on the creation of the order. So with that, the Order of Velulaei was formed.

3. To be general role-models within society.

 

4. To be the official priesthood of Velulaei.

 

5. To properly worship the moon goddess Velulaei.

Ranks

 

[Highest to Lowest]

 

Grand Priest of Velulaei: The Grand Priest is the leader of the order and the only one able to allow a member of the order to go up in rank.

 

Archpriests of Velulaei: The Archpriests are the only ones able to lead another temple. Also they can accept initiates into the Order. 

 

Priests of Velulaei: The ordinary Priests of Velulaei. They may hold smaller temples with the permission of the Grand Priest.

 

Devout Ones of Velulaei: The Devout Ones are aspiring priests, that will learn quite a bit before they take their final test and ascend to the rank of priest.

 

Initiates: The rank of Initiate only exists so that one may decide whether or not to take their oath and stay with the Order.

Rules

 

-No stealing

 

-Follow all Malinor laws

 

-Do not talk badly of Velulaei EVER.

 

-Respect all members within the order.

 

-Listen to your superiors within the order.

 

-No violence whatsoever unless for self-defense.

 

-You must be a Mali'ker to join [[Or in rare cases a Mali, Mali'ame, or Mali'aheral]].

 

-Treat those unwilling to convert or learn about the religion with respect and leave them be.

 

-Always remember, your rank does not give you the right to command people outside of the order.

 

-You may not leave the order once you have taken your oath and become a Devout One, unless you have permission from the Grand Priest.

Our shrine is being established behind Velulaei's Womb.It is only a temporary small prayer place.

 

OOC Information:

 

You do not have to be in the order to believe in Velulaei. We are simply the priesthood that might conduct your praying, inhabit future temples, etc. 

 

Please, really think about joining before you do!

 

Once accepted you will be taught about Velulaei in game. 

 

History will be added as the Order develops.

* Shammer hastily rips down the poster, throws it on the ground and walks off heading to the Badlands, his robes wip in the wind as he walks away *

Xexus, finds the poster gone an hour later and puts  a new one up. He grumbles in agitation and taps his moon staff. With that he leaves, as his robes blow dramatically to the right with the wind.
