What previous experience have you had in role-playing?: I've played on role-play servers on other games.  I've also played tabletop roleplay games such as D&D.

How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?: I thought I should look around for a roleplay server and this is the best I've found so far.

Full Name:  Eorith Dareld

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Eorith grew up in Arethor most of his young life, he was an orphan however he was adopted by Moreth Eache the owner of an inn.  This meant that from age 7 to age 19 Eorith worked in an inn.  His life was good for the most part; but that all changed during the summer when he was 19.  He witnessed the kind man who had taken him in, get taken off to jail for a crime he didn't commit, as well as all his, and his guardians possessions.  This caused all kinds of trauma, and an interesting next few years.  Luckily something changed for the good.

 

Eorith had gone through life as a lonely sad man on the verge of depression.  He had felt as if there was a chasm of emptiness in his soul, his father, had been taken away from him.  Now he finds himself wandering the world trying to find something to give him purpose.

He hopes to find that purpose changing the world for the better, if he can.

Ambitions for the Future: To become a soldier in the military so he can be a guard who will protect those who deserve it.
Personality: Though, believes that justice must be served.
Skills: A sort of jack-of-all trades, however he seems to be especially skilled in swordsmanship.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

Answer: I try to get a better look at the man.  But I cannot seem to see his face.  Next I decide to walk over to the guards.  Trying to not draw attention I tell them, "Guards, look over there at that man, he seems awfully suspicious, and he is going towards the palace!"

After that I let the guards do what they do as it is not my job.

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?

Answer: First off I think of a plan, they seem to be busy with the old man so I start making my way behind them.  Unfortunately the bandits got a few blows off on the old man, but he's still alive, at which point I stab one of the bandits in the back killing him instantly!  At that point I immediately begin battle with the other bandit!

3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

Answer: First I see what items he has that I might need, which I see he has some iron.  I ask him how much he would like for 5 iron bars, he asks 7 gold nuggets, I argue for 6.  At this point he agrees and we exchange the items of interest, and part ways.  (keep in mind I do not know the currency system quite yet.)
