Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

As a child
Durrak was always busy making little wooden swords made from sticks he found
lying around and then use it to play with it and act like he was a warrior.
While his dad played the bad villain he would play the hero and defeat the
villain. This was what Durrak did most of the time, if his dad was home of
course, but if he was alone he would usually play with his brother Fargrim and
played a made an made-up story every time they would play together. While they
were doing this their mom just watched and laughed at the things the little
dwarfs did and at the great imagination they had, and after a while she would
say: ‘’Come inside boys, I baked some cake and have a nice drink for you both.’’
and the boys would drop their wooden swords on the ground and run inside to
enjoy the fresh baked caked their mother made for them. When Durrak was older
he started working at a blacksmith in his hometown and learned a little bit
about minerals and ore’s. When he was old enough, he and his brother went on an
adventure to live a new life in Anthos.

 Durrak and his brother came with the boat to
Anthos. When he arrived he found an pamphlet that said something about a
dwarven clan. After that he joined a dwarven clan where he got lots of training
in the art of combat. He got very skilled after years of hard training and
learned a lot about the use of lances. He trained hard every day and learned to
master the lance with training every day from sunrise to sunset. He read books
and practiced with the lance with the help of his training partner and his
leader who learned him a lot about the lance and its history. Because the
leader’s favorite weapon of choice was the lance as well. The leader always
told him: ‘’One day you will be the best soldier we have ever trained.’’ and
this gave Durrak lots of hope and that’s what kept him going. After years of
hard training, reading and lots of cuts and bruises from the fighting, of which
he still got a scar on the left side of his chest, he finally learned how to
master the lance. He was a great soldier in the dwarven clan that knew how to
use the lance instead of his companions who used battle axes. Over the years he
got in higher ranks because he was so skilled and even learned his friends some
of his best tricks. He started as an unskilled dwarf with almost no knowledge
about the art of combat and grew to a great soldier in the dwarven clan he had
joined. Later on he found out that the general was planning to use the clan to
go on a suicide mission. With around 500 men they wanted to try and take over
the home of the humans: The holy Oren Empire. He warned his friends about this
plan and they got away safely at night without anyone noticing them. So he
needed to go somewhere else and went on an adventure to search his brother to
join the caravan his brother was in. But finding his brother wasn’t easy
because he travelled around the world with his caravan. After Durrak and his
friends split up because they went home, he needed a place to stay for a while
and to write a letter to his brother Fargrim. So he found a little inn where he
could stay and started writing the letter which said:

’’ Dear Fargrim,

Not too long ago I found out
the army I join had evil plans on taking over The Holy Oren Empire so I left
and got a nice place to stay for a while. But what I wanted to ask is if I
could join the caravan you’re in, and be the guard of the caravan. I would like
to hear much about your adventures and would love it to meet you soon my
brother. I hope I will hear from you soon.

And he posted it. After a
while he received a letter from his brother which said:

‘’ Dear Durrak,

My dear brother I haven’t
spoken to you in years! I would love you to join our caravan and be the guard
of it, we need one of them. I have travelled much and would love to meet you
soon. So if you travel to the city of Salvus we can meet up there. And then you
could join our caravan as our guard. I will tell you everything of my
adventures when we meet up. I will see you soon my brother.

So Durrak went to the city of Salvus
where he met his brother’s after many years and met the friends of his brother.
As his brother said he could join the caravan and be the guard of it. And then
he went on an adventure with his brother and his new made friends.

Ambitions for the Future: Durrak joined the caravan where his brother is in and is the guard of it
and helps the caravan get safely around the world and defend the caravan and
its members with his life. Help the caravan get big and popular amongst the
people. And improving his skills in how to use the lance and learning how to
use the crossbow is what he wants to learn.

Personality: Durrak is a dwarf who is nice to all people that are nice to him, but if
they are not he will be an intimidating dwarf that you need to look out for.
Durrak protects the innocent and the weaker people and is loyal to all of his
best friends. But he is inpatient, sometimes stubborn and he doesn’t trust many
people.

Skills: he knows a bit
about ores and minerals because he worked in an blacksmith. And he knows how to
use the lance pretty good, but he might need some improvement here and there.

Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Durrak has dark orange hair and has
the same eyes as his brother.

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds
of Kalos you see a large deposit of
diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to
access the deposit. What do you do?

 

Answer: Durrak throws
some stone’s at the bridge and poke it with a pickaxe to see if it holds. The
bridge holds. Durrak safely places a foot on the bridge. A bit crumbles off in
the middle of the bridge. Durrak takes away his foot and doesn’t bother getting
the diamonds anymore because he doesn’t want to risk his life.

 

2. You are sitting in the local tavern with a large pint of
ale in your hand - sitting nearby you is a rather young dwarf whom is clearly going
through a bad time. He is crying to himself, and clutching a small
wooden hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two shady dwarves are
sitting whispering to each other and pointing
occasionally at the dwarf. They stand up, one with a small dagger in his hand and begin to approach the young dwarf. What do you do?

 

Answer: As the two
Dwarves approach, Durrak places his hand on the lance that's leaning on the
table. "What 'yer gettin' in yer 'ead ther', ma'e?", he says to one
of the Dwarves. The child looks hopefully at Durrak as he stands next to him. "Git
out of me way, ye fool. It ain't ye business!'', one of the Dwarves says. Durrak
takes his lance and holds it right before the Dwarves's faces, the blade
glittering in the light. ''Move 'long now, lil' one. 'Urry.'', hey says to the
child and he hurries away. As one of the Dwarves tries to move forward, Durrak
places the grip of his lance before him, looking him in the eyes ''Yer' not gittin'
trough 'ere, ye bugga!’’ The Dwarves nod to each other, knowing it will be a
lost fight, and move on with their business.

 

3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven Caverns you hear a voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on
his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react?

 

Answer: Durrak looks
at the dwarf with a confused look. ’’ What’s in tha’ ale of yers.’’. The barman
became a bit nervous. ‘’Uhh… erm just a goo’ ol’ale brewed by me father.’’.
Durrak came closer to take a look at it and sniffed the ale. ‘’ I don’ trus’
this ale of yers’’. The barman stutters. ‘’ Bu’ bu’ its realle’ goo’. Why don’
ye trust me?’’. Durrak looks at him. ‘’ Because I ‘ave more imporan’ things to
do than listen to a bragger like ye’’. The barman opens his mouth wide. ‘’ Goo’
day sir’’. Durrak turns around and walks away.
